La Quinta was a last minute option, after the Hyatt house canceled my stay at the last possible minute, even though I had my reservation for over 6 weeks, and had fully paid...all in the name of over booking. I don't know if it was the fault of hyatt house or booking.com, but that kind of thing is inexcusable customer service, and I will never use them again. As for the people at LA quinta, they were gracious and I was delighted to find a very pleasant last minute alternative.

There should be some kind of offset reward for overbooking people. It is very stressful to come to a large city on a family outing, right after a holiday ( July 4) in a tourist driven state ( colorado)...only to find that your best effort to have everything in place, just imploded. There would be a significant penalty (over $200) if I canceled beyond my deadline. The agencies should have a commensurate penalty for doing that to customers beyond that same deadline. It held up a chunk of money as I wait for my refund, and cost an extra chunk of money to rent another spot--which was an unexpected expense that I had not budgeted for on a vacation adventure. Anyhow, I will absolutely recommend LA Quinta in the future, to my many traveling friends and family. They were my rescuers!

Brakefast was offered, fridge and microwaves in the room. The room was very spacious.

The chairs in the room and end tables haven't been vacuumed is some time as I kept sneezing every time moved something. Also, the bathroom floor was less then desirable with the dust bunnies and few stands of hair on the floor. Brakefast could use some more Gluten-frendly options.

Staff was ok some of the staff however just couldn’t be bothered by your questions the older woman in the morning is very rude and snappy. Rooms were nice and clean and bed are comfortable!

Rude older woman in the morning and even though they are with wyndham group they do not offer free early check in for diamond members and they will not work with you on late checkouts. I believe they allowed me until 11:30 am

Location was great, staff was great. I felt safe there.

I stayed in 2 different rooms over a course of 3 nights. Both rooms had left behind wrappers and other stuff behind the night table. The 2nd room I was in, I was only provided 1 tiny bar of soap for washing hands. No soap or shampoo for shower. I would think LA Quinta would offer better soap and shampoo/conditioner items..

Room was clean and comfortable. Furniture was dated, but okay.

Check-in was a hassle. Long wait there. Long walk from elevator to room on a broken ankle, only to find that door would not open. Walk back to lobby. No one at front desk. Wait, wait some more. Finally, he comes back to tell me that you have to pull up on the handle to open door. Also didn't tell me that it was much easier to park on the back and use that door and elevator to get to our handicapped accessible room! So yeah front desk definitely needs some work.

Spacious room, quality coffee in room and breakfast. Pet friendly although I had a service Animal it helped they were pet friendly garden area was very nice shady and seating to eat. Ice water with fruit available 24/7

Bed was very uncomfortable. Looked like a pillow top but. Felt like I was sleeping on slats. Booked for jacuzzi outside that is cemented up.

We had stayed a numerous hotels on our trip to Colorado, and had been very dismayed at everything. To no open pool, to a "continental breakfast" being 2 granola bars in a brown bag! Staying at your hotel was very refreshing! Beautiful rooms, store, patio ect ( even though the pool was out of order to a freak snow fall the previous week) And the breakfast was a great breakfast!

Pool would have been opened for memorial day weekend.

The Room was Clean, the bed and pillows so comfortable. breakfast was okay more choices would have been great.

At check in the man was so rude he just threw the key cards on the desk and turned around didn't ask if we needed help or to direct us towards our room

Donna at the front was amazing and had amazing customer service. She helped us with our room requests and got us all taken care of.

The room wasn't very clean. Pillows smelled and we realized in the morning there were yellow stains on the comforter that definitely wasn't ours. There was trash left from previous person missed by room cleaners Lights didn't work

I loved the size of the room. It worked perfectly for my family, including my pets. I enjoyed the ability to have a separate living space from our sleeping area.

The pool was in disrepair. Otherwise, everything served our purposes for our trip.
