The hotel location and the facilities were really nice. The view of the mountains was awesome.

They charged for a daily resort fee (35 usd) that was not mentioned at the time of booking.

Well I was a bit nervous from reading some reviews but we decided to give this resort a try and we were glad we did. It is a cabin feel to it but the room we had had a great view of the mountains, golf course, and lake. The breakfast was buffet but again we felt it was excellent value. The hotel is also close to the old Colorado springs and new Colorado spring areas (10 -15 min drive) tucked away in a quiet neighbor hood. If we ever go back this is where we would stay.

The seasoned staff was outstanding. The new staff needs work. Housekeeping pounded on a do not disturb sign at 9 am. And did not stop until the door was opened, then did not apologize. The front desk was to give room credit. Didn't see that!

The location, the views and the staff were awesome!

The property is dated. We ended up switching rooms because the tub didn't drain properly and the faucet was loose. The tub didn't drain very well in the new room either. We couldn't dine in the mountain view restaurant because it was closed for maintenance. Which I understand but I wish they had notified us as it was our last day there and we could have eaten there a day or two earlier.

Booking.com sent us an email with upgrade options when you click the link it connected you to an error message. contactedbooking.com for them to resend. They resent the email with upgrade options. opened the link and it said you have no upgrades.

beautiful and serene mountain views, clean rooms, comfortable beds

Last night was fine on the 3rd floor. The night before we were on the 2nd floor and we could hear the guests above us because the floor is not well insulated. They were walking and running until nearly 1 AM well until I finally called the front desk. It is just the floor insulation, but every movement was so loud I was jolted awake and could not go back to sleep until the hotel informed them of the noise.

The magnificent views, the pleasantly friendly and very accomodating staff, the bar area was comfortable for a light dinner, and the breakfast buffet was good. The pillows are WOW! The gentleman I spoke with on the phone 2 days prior about arranging our rooms next to each other was so nice, and I spoke with him again at the time of our arrival at the airport which was before noon... he was again so polite and allowed us to check in early, no hassles.

The breakfast buffet, altho good, was a little too much on the expensive side. The rooms feel a little outdated like small old hotel rooms for the price.

The view and facilities were wonderful!

We ordered food from an outside location and wanted to eat it in the lobby at a general table and we were kicked out. We went outside and someone came up and smoked a cigar right next to us so once again we had to leave. Should be no smoking on the public deck where the fire pits are.

The location is beautiful. For a family, it looks like there's a lot of activities to do. For a couple traveling alone and on a short getaway, it was a lot of money for just a room.

Room was nice, though after spilling water on the floor and wiping it up with a washcloth, the washcloth came up brown. We'd only arrived an hour earlier. Breakfast was good, though as a guest, paying $50 for a buffet seemed a lot.
