Not sure why this place had such low ratings. My room was clean and I didn't have any issues with other guests or the staff. The internet was fine, I did a couple zoom meetings for work and watched Netflix with no issues. Something to keep in mind is most of this place is self-service, and you take care of your own trash, ask for bedding to be washed, etc. I didn't mind this at all. If you are looking for those things to be done for you, spend the extra money. I think for the price this was a great place to stay, especially for extended trips.

The evening manager, Ashley was friendly, kind and very helpful. The morning manager was just as great, but I didn't get her name. Their actions went beyond checkin/out service. The room was very clean and looked like it would be great for a longer stay. I loved that it had laminate flooring! It made the room feel fresh & clean. The shower and bathroom were clean and had good hot water pressure. There was coffee available 24 hours.

I might suggest optional blackout curtains to slide over blinds. The blinds were in great shape, but let in a liitle more light than I am used to.

Newer hotel. I appreciated the relatively new, comfortable bed. Helped my arthritis. Good front office staff.

Have to take out your own trash. This is difficult for me, with my arthritis. The last hotel I stayed at, very similar to this one, were kind enough, to allow me to put the trash outside my door, and they also, provided linens to me, because of my situation. That's what really makes a hotel special, when they can help disabled guests, and not treat them, like healthy guests. I am 82.5 years old, a disabled USAF Veteran, and live in hotels in Colorado Springs, year round, except, when I travel offshore. I am also, a level Diamond III with Booking.com, a level 6 with TripAdvisor, and similar levels, with Expedia, Choice hotels, Red Roof, etc.

Staff were very friendly and always willing to help. You get a real kitchen (full-size fridge, large microwave and two-burner stove.). All appliances and bathroom fixtures were high quality. The building is very secure.

The motel is dog friendly. During the day you are going to hear some barking. This was not a problem at night.

Cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional. Friendly and helpful staff. This is definitely a “no frills” accommodation, but is a great value for those not looking for many extras. (breakfast, pool, etc)

As guests are allowed to cook in their suites, we were often greeted by the smell of cooked fish. I realize there isn’t much staff can do to rectify, but this was something I didn’t care for.

Extremely comfortable bed. Housekeeping did a good job today. Nice lobby.

I have been here 2, full weeks. Today, when I extended another week, I was told for the first time, the hotel charges for fresh linens. All the guests have to do, is request fresh linens. I never changed any linens in 2 weeks, because I was never told, I was being charged for it, and all I had to do, was request new ones.

It is not a fancy hotel but It has features like a stove, microwave, refrigerator, pay washer and dryer in the laundry room, mini fitness center, and TV—a lot of nearby restaurants within walking distance.

You have to bring or buy some pot and pan to cook on the mini stove if you don't want to go out often to eat.

Everything that was in the hotel’s control was excellent! Service, staff, the room set-up and cleanliness were all wonderful for my three week stay. Whole fridge, kitchenette with stove top, and wifi enabled laundry devices so you can pay by app instead of coins. Other places were about $130/night, but this place had a great operation for extended stay that basically had you living in a studio apartment for $50 less. Additional amenities do cost extra, like getting a better internet package or having them clean your room more once every two weeks, but if you’re not against taking out your own trash and just simple web surfing at night (and the premium internet package was only +$2/night for a week at a time), still a very low price for a long stay in an EXCELLENT location, right in the middle of a bunch of restaurants, with I-25 on one side and Voyager parkway on the other.

Only complaint I had was the internet speed and the rowdiness of some of the other folks that stayed there the first week, but neither of those were in the hotel’s control. Even then, the premium and premium plus internet packages could handle YouTube streaming just fine as advertised, but I don’t recommend it for online gaming, haha!

The room was spotless, of course the buildings brand new, the bed very comfortable, nice pillows compared to most places where their hard and lumpy, very nice place to stay, I'll go there again any time I'm in the springs!

The front desk clerk was a bit rude, I showed up 15 minutes before check in time and she said, well your rooms not cleaned yet come back in an hour, other desk clerks were very pleasant and accommodating The only real complaint was the people above me kept stomping around till one in the morning but that's to be expected, not the hotels fault

The staff was super friendly. The hotel was clean and quiet. Location was easy to get to and was easy to move around Colorado Springs.

The front desk is not open after 10 pm. You have to call to get service. They are right there to help. Just was a little nerve wracking when I arrived after 10 and saw the window close. After reading the sign I got in no problem.
