DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Junction

The bar lounge area was very good. Welcoming and good food. Our waiter Scott in the Bistro 743 was an added bonus.

Overall the Doubletree is a bit shabby, really needs an update. The extra $12 to park your own car 50 feet from the door is really annoying!

The front desk people were friendly and helpful. The staff was all professional and kind. The hotel was clean and well run. They were working on the elevators, and there were postings and information given, so customers were not left in the dark. It is a nice hotel with a restaurant and bar. People were enjoying themselves in a comfortable and nice environment. The hotel is near restaurants, gas stations, and a great part of town with all the amenities. I will stay here again.

On Booking.com it told me it would be 12 dollars a night to park my car. I was never charged a fee (maybe I read it wrong).

The best part of the stay are the cookies

Having to pay for parking. I’m sure done of the many other hotels in the area do that. Having to pay for breakfast. Again the other hotels provide an included breakfast. Paying $25 for incidentals. That’s so old school. You already have my CC#. No one uses the phone. A mini bar is ancient history. Sometimes this chain is the only option in an area but here you have plenty to choose from. I’d pass, unless you want cookies.

Location was great. Room was great. Staff was helpful and courteous. Cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast was good but not complimentary.

When I was seated for breakfast I was asked if I was aware that it was not complimentary. I said "yes, that was explained to me when I checked in." I thought "why would I expect breakfast to be complimentary when I had to pay for parking in an open lot, not in a garage?'

We had some issues come up with our room but the staff went above and beyond to make it right. They were excellent.

I had an issue with booking.com and the hotel not getting my reservation number. I'm not sure how that can be fixed, I think it might be on the booking.com site.

From start to finish, this hotel exceeded my expectations. After staying at disappointing hotel in St. George Utah, this place was awesome. My grandkids enjoyed the cookies we were given at the front desk! We will definitely stay here on our way home.

I didn’t like having to pay for self parking 🙁

I liked the size of the room & its location. The beds were comfortable & the place was clean.

I feel for the price there could have been some wrapped muffins, fruit, yogurt, coffee & juice. Also I don’t feel they should be charging extra for parking unless they get your license plate ( which they didn’t) to make sure you are a true guest. I saw a truck pulling a trailer parked there taking up several spaces & wondered if they charged that person for all spaces or just one.

Loved the easy access off the freeway and the proximity to the college. Comfortable rooms and clean. Price was a little high for what the room was and beds are a little on the old side. There were stains on the chair and footrest, but I still enjoyed my stay on the most part. I wasn’t offered a cookie and water like all of the other people checking in around me, not sure why that happened but thought the cookie and water at check in was a nice touch. The nicest staff member is the gal working at the bar in the restaurant. Beautiful views.

Beds are old and stains on chair/ottoman. A bit outdated and overpriced for what the room entails but they do have great views.

The front desk staff and bar staff were very polite, helpful and appeared to enjoy their job in the service industry. The breakfast food was ok

Some of the wait staff were not as interested in assisting you and wanted to do the minimum.

Beautiful facility and bonus to have a restaurant on-site. The rooms were nice and spacious and it was quiet.

There was an undisclosed $12 parking fee that I thought was a cheap way to greet your guests. The carpet was stained and dirty near the elevators.
