Grand Vista Hotel Grand Junction

Love the Grand Vista Hotel in Grand Junction Colorado. The atmosphere is fabulous, they are very kind to animals here, customer service was exceptional from all staff. The restaurant has great choices and the bar is reminiscent of the old world style. Thank you!!

Parking Lot was too difficult to navigate with the luggage rack, it needs re paving, parking space sizes are suitable. Because of the potholes, I left my suitcases under surveillance and felt extremely safe in doing this. Staff and guests are keeping an eye out for each other, in addition to Grand Vista Hotel’s excellent security.

I like the location! You can see it right from I 70. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Also, they had a great pool with towels readily available at the check in counter. The definite 5 star rating was that the deposit was put back instantly to my bank account when we left!

I didn't like how the entrance to the bar was so loud and in your face right beside the check in counter. It was hard to concentrate on what the receptionist was saying. The hot tub was nice but really small and got crowded quickly. Also the parking spots are a bit tight to pull into.

Convenient location. We didn’t see one drugged out or drunk persons. The hotel is known as one of the best hotels in the area, holding many conferences of different types. No history of drug labs in the hotel like many other hotels in grand junction. Very family friendly. Cameras at the front and all around the building. Beautiful views of the valley and mountains. Extremely friendly staff. And with 2 crying babies every night, not one complaint from anyone… nice thick walls! Very affordable.

We stay at the Grand Vista every year when we go to do the wineries tour and buy peaches. The location is excellent and the rooms comfortable and clean.

The facility is showing it's age. While it is still nice and comfortable, you can detect that the hotel was in its heyday in the 1970s. Rust around drains, and facing in the sink counter in the bathroom, for example. But again, the issues are minimal and we continue to stay here every year.

The staff are all very friendly. I like that there is a restaurant and bar located in hotel so you do not have to go far. The rooms are old but comfortable and clean.

The first time we went the pool was closed for maintenance which was a bummer as it was one of the reasons I choose the hotel. This time we went it was open but the hot tub bubbles did not work even though it had just been closed for a month. You also have to pay for parking which seems very strange considering it's a private parking lot.

Bed very comfortable, and pillows too ✅👍👍👍 Air conditioner and heater worked well, room was comfortable. Staff very friendly. Everything clean and comfortable, and lobby had accessible computers to use. Check in fast, friendly and professional.Over all... ✅👍👍👍

Towels are horrible for a hotel this nice. One level above using sandpaper. (OK not sandpaper, but close.) ⛔ 👎👎 An extra charge to use the parking lot per night. And no safety guarantee for the vehicle for that charge..What's next an extra charge for a pillow and a blanket. ⛔👎👎

It was average. But since COVID, even average is good. It was better than a Wyndham hotel we stayed in in Lubbock Texas. It was clean. The front desk staff was responsive. We could actually sit on the furniture without fear of bugs and grossness.

Free parking was not available, except on the street.

Hotel is close to airport & I-70. There are 2 places to eat in the hotel (bar & dinner/ breakfast- not free). Our food was good especially breakfast. Our view from the 6th floor was pretty (sunset).

Our curtain didn’t closed - had to use hanger. Had to pay for parking! The swimming pool is quite small. Our waitress was a bartender, server & cashier, be patient with her.

I loved the mountain view, the bed, the room was spacious. I love the fact they had a bar, restaurant, inside next time I'll go. I loved the pool & hot tub my kids did too. Customer service was good

That there was a $100 hold not mentioned, $10 fee for parking and that the rate price was $86 with that $108 but bill states $112 was. That hot tub knob was broke so no bubbles but felt good.

Clean, comfortable and close to shopping, and restaurants. The pool and hot tub is larger than the average area of any hotel that I have been to, giving it my favorite place to be. I really liked Bailey's in the evenings.

Paying for parking. If it weren't for the pool and Bailey's I would have not accepted the stay, as it raised the cost unacceptably.
