I could tell you a little more. Heres some things that a traveller might expect while travelling: Room, breakfast, location. I will assure you that I was enclosed while there. Also, breakfast does occur. Lastly, I undeniably was at a location of sorts.qq

What didn't I like? What could have been better? I am not in a position to say anything negative towards the topic at hand. As stated prior, they exceeded my expectaipns. I was so happy that a hotel upheld the fact that if be in a room, with breakfast, in a location, that extended my stay.

This hotel was easy to get to off the interstate and checking in was easy. Staff were courteous and very nice to a couple of older travelers. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was a good value for the money.

The wifi had a poor signal and kept dropping off-line. Made it hard to do any business online. We could make waffles or have cold cereal or bagels for breakfast. .

A little pricey compared to other super 8s I've stayed at but overall it a awesome hotel with awesome staff good comfortable beds with clean linen clean rooms good location not far from food and entertainment right off the highway my rating 8.7/10

More variety for breakfast but I love waffles so I was ok with it

The staff was so friendly. They got us checked in right away with no problems. Really great service with a smile. Our room was very clean. The kids loved swimming in a clean pool as we have had some pretty bad run ins with other hotel pools. Great location! We will be coming back for sure!

Our room had a funny smell everytime we turned on the air conditioner, it smelt as if the filters in the ac needed to be changed. The only other thing I didn't like was there was only one trashcan in our room. It would have been nice to have a little trash can for the bathroom.

The air conditioning worked great, which isn't always the case at places we stay. The bed was comfortable. The location was excellent.

The breakfast could be better. The water vending machine didn't work so I had to buy water at the front desk. Unfortunately, they only take cash, and since I don't carry cash I had to use the ATM and incurred a fee for the withdrawal.

When I booked the room with Booking .com it showed that all rooms had a refrigerator and microwave. When we got there, that wasn't the case. All rooms were booked and we couldn't move to a room with those amenties. However, the manager, Tanya, was very helpful and let us keep our cooler food in the fridge behind the front desk. I was very appreciative of her willingness to correct the problem.

Nothing that the motel could do better, but Booking.com should not false advertise on properties when travelers like myself need to have those amenties and book accordingly. Another motel may not have been as accomodating.

Easy to get to

The chairs in the dining space were very worn, could use to be recovered. Air conditioner in our room worked but it was loud and you couldn’t change temp or speed because dial was broken. I really thought $164 for a room was extremely high especially for a Super 8 which has always been an economically friendly hotel/motel.

No bugs, smells, or decay. Everything is clean. The shower has instant hot water. My room could not have been quieter. The breakfast was sufficient: what I expected. There is a convenient plug to charge the phone (not common)!

The mattress was a little lumpy, but sleeping in the middle was fine. The stairs outside are a little tricky to go down, but I manage.

Easy access from highway

The young man who checked us in didn’t talk real clearly and we couldn’t understand him. And the guy who checked us out in the morning was very appreciative when we told him the shower rod was coming off the wall at one end and a light we thought didn’t work we found it completely unplugged in the morning.

Loved the room. I wish this had been the room I stayed in for 6 days! Very comfortable and staff was nice and friendly. If I come back through grand junction this is where I will stay.

Only light turned on from switch by the door was above sink. The light over sink should be centered. That makes it easier when applying my makeup in the morning
