It was a beautiful stay at the log cabin and working heater and hot water in the winter snowy day near a creek. The cabin was a bit of a long drive away from Aspen by an hour to main hwy and the cabin needed a air freshener plug in since there was a very strong onion odor in the cabin that was hard to ignore but overall the view was gorgeous and lots of snow more that 2 feet of snow with frozen icicles from the roof beautiful winter cabin with very quiet surroundings be prepared there is no food or store nearby but has a great kitchen to cook food and sit outside end enjoy the mountain views. I would definitely come back and stay here again and this time I'll bring an air freshener!

The smell was very bad in the cabin like onions.

The whole vibe of the place was AMAZING! A total retreat, away from it all! The place was so peaceful, staff was lovely and very helpful! It was all a surreal experience to be surrounded by nature, especially coming from the city, living our ever so busy lives. Our toddler was able to run freely and explore around the property, which was so nice! Staying here was worth our 16hr. Drive from Texas! Wish we could've stayed longer, but will definitely be back!

This property is outstanding. We were self catering. The kitchen area was great although small - only one/two people at a time. The property is relaxing and a country retreat. Go here if you want to enjoy nature, and peace and quiet. The staff are lovely. Beautiful friendly dogs. Interesting art works. We went in winter. It snowed heavily while we were there, which added to the magic. The staff helped us with getting out after the snow.

Nothing. Just be aware of what sort of property this is. A fabulous, cosy, comfortable country retreat, not a 5 star hotel.

It was great it was exactly what we wanted and we would love to come back in fact we will

The Room didn't have air conditioning which was fine but we had to have the window open so air could circulate. However the room was above the tent where employees take breaks. There was an employee who took an exceptionally long break, over an hour, and took multiple phone calls that included foul language ad nauseam that we had to listen to. He did not present a positive image of the property.

Location of BEYUL RETREAT chalets is gorgeous, totally integrated to Nature and mountains! Exceptional welcome and help from all employees managing this retreat! Very nice bedrooms with functional kitchen and bathroom, spa and sauna facilities!

Absence of WiFi in each chalet and difficulty to use mobile phones! Otherwise, perhaps the best way to disconnect and relax in an outstanding natural environment. The problem of water all around our chalet could have been resolved before our arrivals, b/c it complicated a little bit our ins-and-outsof the chalet - jumping through the balconies - to get access to our car. But it was fun!

A gorgeous, serene, and secluded getaway. NO cell service or internet in the separated cabins which is ideal for travelers that are looking to disconnect from the high paced world. Internet in the main lodge is fast for any emergencies you have or directions you may need. Everything was very very clean albeit rustic in nature - everything worked great, but some of the porches and buildings are older and showing wear.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, but not immediately available. They seemed to have other projects going on and weren't at the front desk so to speak. The price was a little bit high as well considering my stay, but also at a point where I would be willing to splurge.

We loved everything about this Beyul Retreat and can't wait to come back next year. We've found our little piece of heaven on earth that we will cherish. My husband and I were so happy with how far away it was from the cities, without wi-fi or other electronics to tie us down. So we can just got to focus on ourselves, take hikes, enjoy the sounds of nature, the flowing stream outside our cabin windows, the beautiful mountain valleys and the huge amounts of stars you could see encompassing the Milky Way galaxy at night. It was the most romantic time we've had with together in a while and much needed and deserved. 364 days and counting until we return next year! It's going to seem like forever, but so worth it!

During the last night, there were younger kids that didn't respect the quiet hours after 9pm. They were obviously having their fun and running between the sauna, hot tub and cold plunge, but were ridiculously making a scene that we didn't wish to be part of. And it's situations like that, we had wished each cabin had their own outside firepit, so we could roast marshmallows underneath the stars, while keeping warm and cozy together; rather than in the woodstove inside of the cabin sitting on the floor. But improvements can always be made along the way. But again, this was the prefect retreat for us and we can't wait to return next year to our little piece of heaven on earth!

Beautiful remote location, very friendly staff and good vibes all around. We did the recommended walk and we saw a moose ! It was amazing, we would definitely go back. The bed was very comfy too.

Sharing a bathroom with another room might be something that throws people but it’s was honestly fine. Everyone was very respectful with keeping the place clean.

Stunning nature around, authentic design.

Detached bathrooms should be provided with an ability to get locked with the room key. The guest from room 3, for whatever reason, was using our bathroom when he had the bathroom No. 3 available. Decided not to engage, and the staff were not available (too late at night).

In short word, if you like quite, peaceful, rural, and natural stay with family, this is the right place. the downsides of the lodge are 1) 30 minutes-drive from the commercial area, 2) no breakfast (you have to bring your own or buy the instant food with narrow choice, 3) very close privacy in the main lodge (i.e. sharing bathroom ) and 4) no cell in the main lodge and no cell/WIFI in the separate lodges. I accidently forgot the tips when check-out but I will double them at the next visit there. Definitely I will visit again if I have to stop by near there. Some upsides are 1) SPA, 2) SAUNA, 3) short and peaceful trail and 4) FIREPLACE with free wood.

less privacy in the main lodge and no cell service in the separated lodges.
