Walking into this hotels grand elegance was a breath of fresh air! Literally. There's some wonderful aroma threapy going on when you walk in. There are drinks such as water, beer, whiskey or tequila punch as wait for your room. There are several restauraunts within the hotel with an excellent variety of cuisine. There's also a bar in the main lobby. Theres a beautiful rooftop pool party area. I'm sure that theres more that we did not see. Our room was on the 5th floor and it was amazing. Extra clean, fresh, crisp and up to date. It has a modern- zen vibe. Everything smelled so good. The bed and pillows are everything that you could ever hope for. There are other places to eat, shop and play within walking distance from the hotel. I forgot to mention that it is gated. I would definitely stay here again. I like that its location is within a large gated community. You can get out at any hour day or night and find people walking, jogging, strolling and walking pets in safety. I like that you can reserve a room or suite without paying up front. You pay at checkout!

Please be aware of the hotel fee, holding fee (which wasnt mentioned during booking) and they only have valet parking which has a fee for each night you stay..

Everything except the bait and switch using booking and the confusion of them not paying attention.

recently with this site, with booking, I was shown a room with a balcony. To find out there was none available. I was caught off guard but had no where to go so I had to pay the full price for room I did not expect along with having to move from one room to another. If I would have known I didn't have the balcony, I would not have stayed.! Feel like I was caught in a bait and switch! But was between a rock and a hard place, and still am. I feel like I should be reimbursed completely since it changed my plans and interrupted the ambience completely once again, I had no choice but to stay since it was this busy week! the pool

you have to use valet parking, I didn’t like that I had to wait for my car for an hour when we were ready to go out in the evening, I understand it was peek time for departure but I should have the choice to park and get my car so I can come and go without waiting

I was clean and comfortable stay. I loved the way it smelled. I love a clean place and indeed it was. Wonderful staff and customer service. Overall I loved it. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I did ask the receptionist was breakfast included in the package. She was supposed to check but never got back with me concerning that matter. I think the amount that was paid for the room that breakfast should have been included.

The staff was super attentive and the hotel was exceptionally clean. The little details of a welcome cocktail, hydration stations on every floor, and valet parking made our stay extra relaxing and special.

The description of „private beach access“ didn’t point out that reservations for that beach are required at an additional fee and that the hotel is NOT on the beach side, but requires a shuttle ride to the public beach. We also had restaurants and shops within walking distance, but this was never mentioned to us upon arrival.

Mandatory valet parking

The property was absolutely amazing and beautiful! The pictures do it no justice. The rooftop pool bar is a crowd fav and they even have a DJ there some nights. They also have a shuttle that will take you to and from the beach. We didn’t find out about it until it was time for us to check out essentially. So don’t hassle trying to go to the beach and find a parking spot/pay for parking.

Though we knew about valet parking we didn’t know that was the only option. Very convenient just be ready for those additional charged per night.

From the moment we drove up, the staff were kind, helpful, and friendly, and the hotel was beautiful! The lobby, the pool, the food in the restaurant and rooftop exceeded all expectations!

The only negative, which wasn't even a "thing," was the there was one very rude bartender in the main restaurant. He was saving two seats at the bar for a regular local, who went visiting about the property. When we inquired about those seats, several times, he was VERY rude. We were a party of three females on the evening of Saturday, August 5, 2023. The female bartender was lovely and an absolute gem. However, he was a jerk to us.

Loved the great parties each night with music in the lobby, loved the 5:00 cookies, the valet guys were awesome too! this hotel was the best!

I didn’t like the fact that I had chairs reserved each day on the beach and paying for them but we had an entire family set up a huge tent right in front of our chairs and there was nothing we could do about it! I found out that Effie doesn’t even have the rights to the area that they have beach chairs set up. For this reason alone, I will not book with Effie again. if I’m paying for beach chairs, I do not want anyone to be able to set up right in front of me.

It’s absolutely stunning!! I was shocked not knowing it was near the water and the golf resort. Close to everything the restaurant at the marina is delicious and has some of the best bourbon wings And the marina Rachael sandwich is to die for. You should watch the fireworks from the roof ! And ask for the espresso martinis next to the pool . The staff is amazing and the chocolate cake is delicious!!! I came for my recent engagement trip and had an amazing time . Already planning a family vacation in September to the same location and hotel.

I had one weird experience with a staff member a guy who overlooked me and would only talk directly to my fiancé. When I would ask questions I would be dismissed and he would only answer to him . In a way it felt condescending. I guess In a way he thought my fiancé booked the trip and was paying for everything , when actually the roles where reversed. I guess learning experience to be more mindful and never judge a book by its cover
