the beach wasn’t 800 feet away!!! you have to walk around a busy street

I liked that they offered a free breakfast every morning. The location was great. Very close to Henderson Beach State Park and walking distance to some restaurants like Subway and Merlins Pizza. The beds were comfy. The housekeeping staff doesn't bother you unless you request necessities. The room itself and bathroom is spacious. The pool areas are nice. The pools are rather small but the lounge areas were spacious.

The pillows are extremely flat and don't offer much support. I tried to use 2 pillows for support but it still didn't help which made for uncomfortable nights rest. Do yourself a favor and bring your own pillow you're used to. Also, the eggs provided at breakfast are those instant type eggs. If that's your thing, great! Free is free but there's plenty of places to enjoy breakfast elsewhere in Destin. The refrigerator cabinet handle was broken so we had to rig something up in order to access the fridge.

Thank you for everything. My family had a good time here. The location great, everything close by and you can enjoy the beach only 7 min walk down the street. We had breakfast every day, everything always fresh and full. The lady working hard to keep up, she is nice and helpful. The front desk also really helpful, everybody who working there help me a lot. Thank you.

Jess at the front desk was AMAZING! She was super helpful with everything throughout our stay. We arrived later than planned and were exhausted from our trip. She was very welcoming and even offered an upgrade to our room, which was more than generous. The highlights of our visit (aside from Jess, of course) were the hot tub and heated indoor pool. The kids loved the heated pool and my boyfriend and I enjoyed the hot tub. Also, the location was perfect for everything we wanted to do while on vacation. We will definitely recommend this location to friends and look forward to our next trip to Destin!

The closing time of the pool and hot tub made it difficult for us to fully enjoy the amenities.

Overall was a really good stay, everything clean, nice staff, close to the beach and people in the area is so nice too!

the only thing I didn’t like is that they do housekeeping only from 8am to 10am and you have to let them know you need housekeeping in your room

Cleanliness/ Upon arrival to our room my husband noticed what appeared to be urine on the toilet set and hair in the shower.

The breakfast was good considering the affordable price we paid, the room was clean and we were able to check in an hour earlier. The hotel is also located to the closest tourist spots must go to when in Destin. The pool were great too.

There was a leak in our restroom coming from the ceiling which kinda gross us up cuz it might be coming from the other rooms toilet. We wereso tired to transfer a room as well, Luckily, the leak stop after our itinerary for that night.

The room was clean and bed very comfortable. Bathroom was nice with a large countertop/vanity. Room had a microwave and small fridge, and both were clean. Location was central to everything…restaurants, shopping, public beach access, and other activities. Since it was off season, it was pretty quiet on our floor, which was great! This was our 7th stay at SummerPlace Inn. We keep coming back to this property because of the pleasant staff, cleanliness, comfort and location.

There’s a new hotel next door so you really have to pay attention to turn into the right entrance to SummerPlace Inn.
