Clearly a travel lodge and was a little dismayed at the parking lot to door site. But, unlocking the door to a spotless, updated room that was more spacious than expected, was a sigh of relief! Contemporary bath and wonderful bed made me a fan. used small terrace to sit in PM as well as visiting with other guests in nearby rooms! Yummy breakfast next door, access to Glades right there, this is a quaint, seaside working town. like most of both coasts, recovering grandly from hard hurricane hits. The cleaners were among the best, wiping down outdoor waste cans, chairs, to scrubbing their guest's spills on the sidewalk. Wow!

The room was very spacious and well equipped. We had a nice meal and cocktails at The Diving Pelican but watch out for the mosquitoes if you are walking (15 mins)

They are currently making a lot of improvements to the road and walkways so parts of Everglade City look a bit deserted/derelict. Calling it a City is misleading as it is a few houses and restaurants that are spread out over a wide area. Good base for breaking up a journey or if you love fishing.

Rooms had lots of space and good facilities, bathrooms were nice and clean, great location.

We were located right next to the cleaners cupboard which meant an early wake up with the chatter, banging etc. can’t be helped and a little unfortunate- weve been travelling for a while and needed a little sleep. We were also recommended a restaurant for dinner which was so poor the waitress paid for our meal and the hotel offered a map with companies for kayaking (the reason for our visit) which wasn’t available the hotel should check the affiliations We found other attractions and our visit was great in the end :)

It's a clean, newly remodeled room with good beds and shower. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms are big, have a desk area (but not an electric outlet easy to get to). Little fridge and coffee station with a sink as well. Great set up for that area.

The ONLY drawback was the wifi. It never worked. They said it was because since the hurricane they can't seem to get it fixed and they've tried often.

This is a large room, large bathroom with a nice shower and two large windows that open, and one looked out onto a backyard of grass. Typical fridge and micro. There is a small common patio area with picnic tables where you can grill (plenty of new coals available) and/or micro outside. As with motels, you can park directly outside your room making the stay just plain comfy. However, we do not like sterile, populated and fancy hotels, and therefore found the Everglades City Hotel a nice down to earth clean, comfy and pleasant stay. We would be happy to return.

Restaurants with good drinks in the area. However, there are some country type restaurants with good food and coffee.

Very spacious, clean and well-furnished motel room that was completely renovated recently. This motel in Everglades City exceeded our expectations in every way, would definitely recommend staying there for airboat tours or to go fishing. In addition, the staff at the Ivey House who manage the motel check-in were extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for making our stay there memorable and enjoyable!

The property looked like a 2-star but I was pleasantly surprised by the interior. A recent 3-foot tidal surge had devastated the property but the 100% renovation was really nice.

There was no phone in the room and operating the TV was almost impossible because there were no directions. I eventually got it working by randomly pushing buttons but it was very frustrating.

Massive room which had obviously just been refurbished. Meticulously clean and very comfortable enormous bed! Thought we were booking a small Motel room and thought it was overpriced for what we were going to get. Not at all but would rather have had smaller room and paid less. Best breakfast in US in next door Island Inn.

We actually spent 2 nights here... It has had a lot of remodeling done...the beds were new and comfortable..tv good. nice little kitchenette..good bathroom and shower ..good location next to a restaurant.. we had breakfast and a dinner...not far from the airboat excursions we were there for.. There isn't much to select from in this area but we would stay here again and we'd tell our kids to try it out when wanting the airboat experience.. 🤗 There's even a picnic area with grill..

Wasn't expecting much when booking but was surprised. Clean. Good location. Spacious. Worth noting you need to check in at another building and it's not very straightforward to see if you drive straight to the address for the hotel.

It was quite pricey but it could be because we booked last minute.
