Location was perfect. Within walking distance to everything. Staff was nice, friendly, and available. It is an older motel. But for the location and price it can't be beat. . As for upkeep, no trash or cigarettes butts anywhere on property which is always a plus. Property may be old and need a little updating here and there, but it is was well kept and clean and that's what matters to me.

Personal preference, blankets were just sheets. A heavier blanket with the sheets would have been nice.

Nice view of the beach. Bed was very comfortable. Nice linens. We were in our truck and is was tough parking in front of our room. We arrived on the first Friday of the month. We walked into town and enjoyed the First Friday festivities. Close to good restaurants. We walked to eat all our meals. Enjoyed our weekend.

It wasn't the Ritz, but its all you need to enjoy a beach trip. We stayed overnight for a day at the beach after a week at Disney. It was clean, great location, and plenty of room. I rented 2 rooms for my family and we all enjoyed it. The employees were accommodating. Pool was nice and even the people who were staying were nice. Highly recommend staying as long as you are not expecting a luxurious hotel. Will be back to stay longer!

We've stayed here before and although the property could use revamping, we understand that its old and historic. As long as there were no bugs, no hair or mold, Im satisfied. The beds were very comfortable and clean. We appreciated PJs hospitality and check in.

I didn't care too much for the flickering porch light but I just closed the curtain and blocked that out.

if your looking for a fabulous place great location right on the beach in the center of all the restaurants & bars this is the place it’s also one of the nicest hotels in the area it’s truly historical the rooms in the main building are antique right down to wallpaper walls and plaster architect on the ceilings the hallways & entrance is a throwback in time with antique giant mirrors and all sorts of memorabilia on display, there’s a restaurant on the premises as well, the hotel is family owned & run which adds a personal touch of hospitality making sure your stay is wonderful and pleasant and last but not least the price of the hotel is definitely affordable it’s actually one of the best priced places in town. you will stay again and again like I do every time I come to this wonderful town

This is a beach front hotel , within a walking area to a few different restaurants/bars. Kept clean. The room was spacious, had a fridge and a microwave.

This is an older hotel and could do with some renovations to give it a newer, refreshed look and feel. It would also be nice if there was a thicker cover on beds instead of a single, thin sheet (I was cold at night). Finally, the hotel lists the office/check-in time till 6pm. This can be stressful if you are travelling long distance. With that said, we were not sure that we would make it, so we phoned and the staff was accommodating and extended the time till 7pm.

We loved everything about it. The view from our room was awesome and just listening to the sound of the waves crashing

Everything was spectacular. We really enjoyed our time there.

Ice machine didn't work, no channel guide for an unfamilar Cable company,uncomfortable benches outside rooms for watching the water and sunrise, pool closed

Could not have been closer to the ocean! Historic hotel (over 100 years old) was originally the estate of a prominent architect. Rooms at the historic hotel contain some original antiques. Staff was accommodating. Comfortable bed. Clean room. The pool was clean and in good shape. Terrific view and wonderful sunrises!

The historic hotel needs a good bit of TLC and maintenance but we would stay again without hesitation. The more recently built wings looked to be in better shape.

Cozy. We can tell they are making some changes to the property. The room was nice enough the bed was comfy. Water pressure was excellent and the temperature was great. The fudge worked great.

The little carpet area in the room smelled like wet dog. The vanity in the bathroom was in bed of being replaced. There was a large empty space that a small table and could of chairs would be nice. The pool surface inside the pool was very rough on the feet.
