Maggie and the staff were all excellent. I have traveled a decent amount in the last several years during COVID, and most hotels have used this as an excuse to stop offering good service to customers including cleaning rooms, towels, and interaction. Maggie and her team asked permission and cleaned the room daily. They were always available and around (especially during daytime hours) and provided fresh towels daily for the room as well as the beach. The staff at the Aqua beats the friendliness and service of any other hotel stay that I can remember. We chose this particular location as we had two families with kids. We wanted something with good sized rooms, a pool, a kitchen, and close to the beach. We would have needed multiple rooms or a large suite at a hotel, and we do not always love the vibe of large hotel properties. This was exactly what we were looking for, and love that the hotel group allows access to other properties across and down the street. The location was extremely handy for beach access (3 min walk) Room was spacious and enjoyable with 1 king bed in the bedroom, and 2 queen beds in the main area. The kitchen was very handy, and there is a propane grill in one of the courtyards on site which we used on two different occasions. On the second day, the propane tank ran out. Another tank was available from the property right across the street so it was replaced immediately, and the maintenance staff had the remaining tanks filled within 20 minutes. Truly loved the peacefulness and professionalism of this property. Some reviews mentioned loud residents etc, just make sure you are not staying in March during the busy college spring break season, and you should be fine. We traveled in early April for high school spring break and were extremely satisfied with this location and the surrounding area in general as far as the traffic, and family-friendly atmosphere at this time of the year.

The only thing we did not love about our particular room type, there was no couch or comfortable seating in the room. Just beds. This made it a little challenging, however, we spent most of the time outside around the pool.

The best, friendliest, most hardworking staff I’ve ever met at a hotel. Like everyone has already mentioned, Maggie made our experience exceptional from check-in to check-out. The family suite was spacious, with two queen beds and a king bed (in a separate room), and a kitchen with a full-sized fridge and microwave. There are two pools on site and five more pools and a hot tub across the street that we were welcome to use, which meant that it never felt crowded. The beach was about a block away, and there were chairs and umbrellas to borrow if you grabbed them early enough. We had the best time!

The bathrooms are nicely finished but small, but that is hardly even a complaint - our family of four adjusted just fine!

The location is fantastic. Being 1 short block from the beach is absolutely perfect. Conveniently located near coffee shops, mini markets, casual and fine dining. The staff was great from check in to check out. Friendly people with excellent energy. Highly recommended for quick in & out from and to the room and onto to the city.

Not much to complain about so I'll neat pick... the shower head wasn't adjustable. No outlets directly next to the bed from both sides. That's it.

This little hideaway was awesome. Super cute, garden area also set up with cozy chairs, couches & tables like a little retreat from the hustle & bustle of Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd which is only 1 block away. If you don't want to go to the beach but want to go to the pool they have options 1 salt water and 1 chlorinated Staff was amazing, very nice. Absolutely will stay there again.

no umbrella over the table on the private balcony of our suite, morning coffee would have been a little better but it is Florida and you go for the sunshine . The air conditioner in the bed room had a lot of condensation which caused a puddle on the tile floor threw a towel on it and went on our way, again it's Florida hot & humid its going to happen

I like everything about the Aqua Hotel. It was not our first visit and we prefer to stay at the spacious and comfy family suite. The hotel is “boutique” like, small and cozy. Stuff is extremely friendly and helpful. Especially, we appreciate Maggie, she is the soul of the place. Over years they did a great job, Aqua getting better and better, we instantly fell in love with the new charming lounge area in the garden. The location was very convenient, there were a lot of restaurants and cafes, walking distance from the beautiful beach. We highly recommend the Aqua to everyone:)

Actually, we liked everything. There were no unexpected surprises, otherwise. Maybe somebody would miss that they don’t have a breakfast. But in our room we had a kitchen. Plus there are many restaurants nearby. Maggie gave us 10% discount for breakfast in the very good cafe across the road. Plus they moved to the new office and if needed one can purchase beverages and wine there.

The location and the vibe of Aqua Hotel are truly wonderful, as is the customer service! Maggie who manages the front desk has such a warm and welcoming energy about her, and you can tell she really enjoys working with people. She and her colleagues were very kind and attentive throughout my stay. Maggie also went above and beyond helping me with something I was unable to do in person — I needed a suitcase shipped and Maggie was exceptionally helpful. Thank you so much, Maggie, for alleviating my worries and making it happen! I also want to mention that the hotel is located just steps from the ocean, yet, it’s hidden from the hustle and bustle of the main avenue (N Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd) behind two big hotels—Four Seasons and Hilton. One of my favorite things about the property is that it has a gorgeous quiet courtyard where I spent a lot of time in the evening—eating, reading, listening to nature. It’s got tables, lounge chairs and strings of tree lights—it’s beautiful and super peaceful! Aqua Hotel retains that old Florida charm and character you don’t get in chain hotels. My room and the bathroom were spotless. The hotel provides fresh bath and beach towels (free of charge) every day, which is lovely! Lots of places to eat and a CVS are just a short walk away, one of my favorite spots, the G&B Oyster bar, is a 15-minute walk from the hotel. There’s also a Starbucks about four blocks away. I am definitely coming back to stay here on my next trip to Fort Lauderdale! Thank you for a lovely, relaxing, and memorable experience!

The sound travels a bit, and some of the neighbors were noisy.

A/C worked well ! Room was a good size , plenty of space and storage.

While the A/C unit worked well it was on louder side. My partner had a difficult time sleeping. Bed was Okay, we both woke up a lot during the night attempting to get comfortable . I’ve had worse. Staff was very friendly, but difficult to locate. Three different times no one was managing the checkin office when I needed something. Parking is limited and if you have a large vehicle like I do, it’s a struggle to fit in the compact spots. It was noisy at times.

I like the fact that it was quiet and whatever we needed to make our stay comfortable, Maggie and the staff provided.

A little cosmetic paint or plaster, other than that it was really good. Maggie deserves a raise for sure, I saw her work like she was 3 or 4 people. If we were to return, she played a major role in us wanting to come back again, kudos!! Lucy and Isa are the rest of the reason we would come back & recommend others. Love the #village life team.

The location was terrific and the property was quite nice with two pools and a nice garden area with lots of seating areas. It was a block away from the main strip and just a few minutes walk from the beach. It was about a 10 minute walk from the busier area of restaurants and bars - you don't need a car to enjoy the immediate area.

The room was smaller than expected and cramped for four adults. The two queen bed room sizes are variable and I guess we got one of the smaller ones.

The facilities were great, the staff were super friendly and helpful. We were allowed to leave our bags there before check-in. I would definitely stay there again, it was really comfortable.

There were some mosquitoes in the room when we first went in. There was also an incident of a staff member walking into our room by accident, this was explained and apologised for but still left us feeling slightly uncomfortable.
