Latitude 26 Waterfront Resort and Marina

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, outdoor seating area and kayaks/paddleboards. They also had bikes to use but we did not need to use them, but nice option. Breakfast snacks and drinks were a nice bonus. The beach was only 2 miles away and there was beach access right when we reached the beach. Although there is still obvious damage from hurricane IAN, we found food trucks and live music.

My biggest complaint was the blowdryer. At first I thought it was a joke. The blow dryer they provided was simply a toy fan. I have stayed in many places and that was a first. When I asked the attendant for a different blow dryer she simply agreed the blowdryer was useless and no they did not have another option. She tried to make me feel better by saying my hair looked great, as I stood there with wet hair and no other options. The breakfast was only snack food (packaged muffins, individual box cereal, yogurt, pudding, cottage cheese, boxed OJ, coffee and hot tea, oranges and bannanas) The Resort is on a busy road and you can hear the cars go by. I don't mind the hum of the cars but others might want to be aware. The noise of the cars is out of the Resorts control.

There is not much available in the area. This property has nice places to sit in the sun and gives an old-time feel of Florida. The room is modest, but has the feeling that there is attention to the atmosphere. there is a lot of space in the room and the bed was comfortable. As a solo traveler, I really appreciate nice people to talk to. The breakfast was served outside on a patio that felt like a family barbecue.

Right on San Carlos Blvd. the noise wasn’t really that bad except a few busy hours. After the hurricane, this property is recovering nicely, but the room furniture is dated, and the flooring feels not updated. it feels like a genuine beach motel from the 60s or 70s.

We stayed in a loft suite and loved the spaciousness. I was happy to see that the room offered a couple of burners (although only one of them worked). I would have preferred there to also be an oven in addition to the microwave in order to prepare a meal.

The location is awesome, right on the water. I really loved the free kyack and paddleboards. The bikes were a nice bonus, however there is a lack of safe areas to ride them. If you go out on the water, please use insect spray. We were not advised about this and ended up getting bitten by noseums - the itching is horrible. I also would like to see the property invest in a tandem so that my younger child could have gone on a bike ride with us.

I was very skeptical at first just from seeing pictures online, but let me tell you this place was perfectly clean and even when we opened up the door to the room, it smelled so beautiful inside. The grounds were beautiful as well. I highly recommend this place for families because you can get a beautiful room with another room inside of it and it has a fridge raider and kitchen area. This place was wonderful and the staff was amazing as well. I highly recommend this place.

There’s nothing negative to say this place is awesome

We booked the Floating Coconut Cottage (private houseboat). It was an amazing stay! 😍 The boat is newly renovated and we felt so comfortable there. The whole hotel complex is equipped with a passionate dedication to detail, as well as our houseboat itself. The coconut cottage comprises a gas grill and a huge landing stage where you can easily sit with 10 people and enjoy the evenings. An additional highlight of the hotel: bikes, water toys as kayaks etc. can be used free of charge and hotel guests join free beer at the lobby. 😃 All in all it was the best stop during our Florida road trip! We will definitely come back! Many thanks to the team!

If toast in combination with I.e. jam, peanut butter and cheese cream additionally would be served that would be great!

The amenities (free use of paddleboards, kayaks, bikes), the "no contact" check-in, place was VERY CLEAN, heated pool, gathering space, AC worked excellent, proximity to the beach, lots of parking available. We are locals--cut a cake for my daughter and had our family over. We will recommend and visit again! Close to Walmart, Publix and activities. Very affordable for everything being offered.

Everything was excellent except only one side worked on the stove. They should partner with the restaurant next door and have drinks & appetizers available to order.

Room was spacious but cozy. Kg. Bed was really comfortable. Lots of drawers and closet space. Small frig, coffee maker, microwave were great. Nice big shower. Breakfast buffet was nice. Free use of paddle boards, kayaks etc. excellent especially forcouples and families...small fees for fishing poles, etc. Heated pool on site. Fantastic. Outdoor TV to watch as desired, beach chairs and fire tables on dock to watch sunsets....REALLY PRETTY AND ROMANTIC!!!

Personally, I prefer plain Greek yogurt...not so much pastries. But, it was free, so I ate cereal. Resort located on a pretty busy street...but on-site you really don't notice...very peaceful, pretty and quiet. Trolley stop to FMBch close by...only 35 cent pp. each way.

Free bikes, free kayaks, free breakfast, clean, nice, fresh large rooms, keyless entry, nice beaches within less than 2 miles, nice sportsbar/restaurant just next door, warmed swimmingpool. And above all: very friendly personnel

Noisy airco, traffic noice, difficult to find at night (busy road, no lighted naming (yet)). Also the breakfast could be better: little really fresh stuff, mainly processed products with a long shelf life packed with a lot of plastic. If you want to be a eco-lodge, please improve on that part.

Very easy check in and out services. The room was very clean and spacious. We liked that there was a microwave and small refrigerator in the room for our use. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the amenities offered and would definitely come back again.

The breakfast was a little disappointing, as its mainly just packaged donuts and pastries or oatmeal and cereal, but the coffee was excellent and there was several options to choose from. Staff took there time getting some things out in the morning.

bath towels and the lighting in the place it was so dark i couldn’t see. Also the latch on the front door it cause a huge gap abs draft that needs to come off to seal the front door . I’d get better quality towels and black wash cloths Also the mirror in bedroom needs a light above it to have another place to get ready. Maybe a full length mirror
