Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Lake City, an IHG Hotel

Staff was friendly, check in process was easy, rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, lobby is big & inviting, indoor pool was a plus (winter), washer & dryer access ended up being helpful, snack area was nice after hours, bar in lobby looked nice though I didn’t get a chance to use it, attached to a restaurant & shares parking lot with Chick-fil-A, access to many other dining options on the same road

Location is a little difficult to find due to it being behind Chick-fil-A (gps took me to another hotel first), motel next door appears to be run down & a lot of people were wandering around or sitting on curbs (a little unnerving as a single woman traveling with my daughter)

Location is just off of I75South which is handy, hotel has good, well lit parking and most importantly, clean with really good beds.

Our only real complaint was there is NO Breakfast included in the cost although it was advertised as such. They do have breakfast 'service' which turned out to be $15 (including tip) for coffee, 2 eggs, 2 sausages and 2 slices of toast - not bad but definitely not included.

Did not wake up in time for the breakfast.

My bed spread had a stain on it.

The bartender was amazing. She was EXTREMELY clean and had the cleanest looking and Snelling bar that I have ever encountered

I do not like pets! However, I do not dislike. I just don't want to dwell with them. If you travel with pets, this hotel is very accommodating... No free breakfast

Good food.

We arrived for breakfast at 9.15 and were told they were closing even though it should be open until 9.30. We were served but rather begrudgingly. They even suggested we took a take away bag. As a result we felt rushed. Breakfast should be served until 9.30 as stated. It was a shame because the breakfast itself was excellent.

It’s very clean and modern. We arrived at around 11pm and the front desk guy was absolutely lovely, treated us very nice, and made us feel welcomed. I do not know his name, but his professionalism was really appreciated. It was only a one night stay, but we’ll absolutely be back .

The bed was a little uncomfortable

The facility was clean, quiet and comfortable. The front desk agent was friendly and professional. We had a large dog that they accommodated in a king suite. The carpeting was stained, but clean, which is understandable given that the facility is pet friendly. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

I did not have breakfast at this location this stay. I had to depart earlier and breakfast was not available. I had breakfast there the previous trip and it was good

I have no complaints. I had stayed there previously and I felt safe and secure. Therefore, I chose to stay there again, and will do so again in the future.

I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, but it’s basically in walking distance of almost any major eatery. It’s almost connected to Ruby Tuesday and Cracker Barrel and IHOP are right across the parking lot. I like that there is an indoor pool and gym here. The parking is ample and there’s plenty of parking in their extended back lot for the construction crew vehicles, container trucks and rvs that normally take up all the spaces at other hotels. I also like the text service they have to check in on you during your stay. That was nice.

The channel lineup was quite uninteresting. There were the same shows on all day at the same times. Smart TVs might give you more options to lounge and watch what you want.

Everything was good, the bathroom was clean, the fridge, microwave, A/C and faucet/shower worked. The beds and sheets were clean. Parking was well lit.

The only thing I did not like was that for the price paid, the carpet was a bit sticky, and the toilet paper was low. Apart from that everything else was fine.
