Tru By Hilton Lake City

Modern, comfortable, and clean! The room perfectly suited our needs, was well kept, and the bed was very comfortable. Pet friendly with a reasonable pet fee of $35. We enjoyed the variety of options available at breakfast before heading back out on the road. We would definitely stay again. And if we'd had more time, we would have enjoyed playing the board games or pool in the lobby!

My only suggestion would be to add one or two additional pet waste bins closer to the hotel or in the parking lot.

This was our third stay at Tru in Lake City. My husband and I drove a slightly longer route on our trip so we could stay at Tru, Lake City. Very clean and so quiet. Super water pressure in the shower and lots of hot water. The bed and pillows are excellent. The laminate flooring is my favorite part. It doesn't retain odors. Makes the room seem brand new. Tru has ruined me for other hotels with the floor covering alone. Coffee and tea available 24/7. There are lots of restaurant choices close and gas stations too. Easy access to I-75.

Very new & modern hotel that was decorated very contemporary & nice. Staff was very professional & friendly. Pool was clean & enjoyable to swim in with a nice deck & sitting area. Our room was clean & shower was great! Nice large screen TV in room. Beds were very comfortable & wehad a great night sleep!

We had a king bed but room was small. Everything very condensed. No closet to hang your clothes, just hooks & a small area above the little refrigerator to hang a few blouses & it had no dresser.

I like the flooring in the rooms at Tru. Eliminates any residual smells. Just seems cleaner than carpet. Love the beds. Like the showers. Appreciate the dispensers for shampoo and hand soap, etc. Glad you see recycling option for trash.

The trash cans are a bit too small. The carpet in the hallways seemed to need vacuuming this visit. We like Tru and drive out of our way to stay at this location on our trips to Tampa.

*Customer service- absolute worst* rude, lazy **NO CLEAN TOWELS FOR 3 DAYS**- seriously - zero towels available. Okaaayyyy. ***NO HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE***- they tell you to request if you want it- didn’t happen ***BILLING NIGHTMARE***Overcharged- don’t work with 3rd party booking contracts. Highway robbery. Changed pricing to over 220$ nightly for this mediocre property. When we left- spent a night in Orlando at another Hilton that was immaculate, friendly, 5 star breakfast, happy hour, free shuttles, massive property and far less expensive. If you require towels to bathe, appreciate staff being kind and expect To pay what your contract says- I’d go elsewhere. Live and learn!

Pancakes were good, the eggs are not. Coffee was hot and fresh at 04:00 AM. Room was comfortable and clean . The gentleman at night was more than friendly, courteous, professional. The female during the day not so much. Was happy that there were no parking fees and I just love the place.

The female at check-in has very little to none customer service skills. Coffee and water was cold and she seemed to be annoyed at every question.

We liked the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the property.

We hated the fact that there is not a microwave in the room. This was very inconvenient and not very healthy. Using a community microwave is not safe (particularly during the pandemic). For the price guests pay, there should be a microwave in each room. I read a review of Tru and they stated you could ask for one - but, you should not have to do this! Warming up a cup of coffee or soup should be easy. You should not have to go into the lobby, and search for a hidden microwave, which is what we did. It is something simple, but very impactful. Hilton can definitely afford to put one in each room. We decided not to reserve here again for that reason alone. The small space was okay for one night and no coffee maker was fine. But, no microwave really negatively impacted us.

Welcoming, Clean, Modern and most of all…Comfortable!

The ground floor elevator button (#1) with star on both elevators are so wore off…that old girls, (like us 🥴) can’t see the main floor button. EVERY DETAIL FROM START- TO FINISH WAS TOP NOTCH WITH “EVERY” Associate we encountered. Keep up the Excellent Work!! WE WILL BE BACK 👍🏼❤️👍🏼

Awesome lounge area with stylish and playful furniture and lighting, nice pool area with bistro lighting, and the most comfortable beds ever…all very clean. but most of all, it was nice to be warmly greeted by both a manager and the television in our room.

Their breakfast left A LOT to be desired

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a King-bed room on 4th floor away from highway. Did not notice street or road noise. The room is on the small size but has everything you need. Two night tables, desk and chair, fridge, places to put suitcases. Hotel lobby has plenty of room for groups to sit and relax and there is a pool table. Outside pool is clean and good temperature with tables and chairs around it. There is a covered patio sitting area outside the pool. Good value for cost.

While it was amazing that they were serving a hot breakfast in these COVID times it was really not good. Coffee also could use improvement.
