Loved everything. From the room to the coffee pods to the larger refrigerator to the walking distance restaurants to the fishing at our back door. Did not have to get back in the car. Wonderful hosts. If you love chilling out and fishing this is for you. The whole unit was new inside and we will surely return. Do not hesitate to go for a stay, help them rebuild the community. Oh and we did catch fish from the back door every day. You will not be disappointed. Wonderful stay. There is even a grill for your convenience.

Wonderful location in a quaint old Florida island town. on a lush, beautiful property. The hostess Jeanette was fantastic and very helpful. Plenty of free kayaks on site to explore the waterways, including life vests for your fur babies! The extra blankets, pillows and hideaway bed were a fantastic bonus as well. Plenty of dog friendly areas within walking distance to enjoy the local food and nightlife.

We loved the location to the shops and restaurants. Along with having access to the canal right out our back door.

Upkeep with a few things. The door to the unit wouldn't stay closed all the time, we had to be extra careful or put a chair in front of it. We did let the innkeeper know upon leaving. Also, there the usual FL. ghost ants that would appear and made home to the sugar canister for coffee.

Everything is wonderful at Angler's Inn. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay. The rooms are newly finished, as well as, clean and comfortable. Thanks again for another awesome stay in Matlacha.

the location was awesome. having a lanai facing a canal was just the best. the whole place was newly renovated and looked great. the kitchenette was equipped with everything we needed. I also appreciated it being a dog friendly place.

Clean and newly renovated, right on a canal where you can dock your boat. Jut around the corner from accessible boat ramp. Owner is vey nice and quickly responds to any requests and our questions you may have.

The location is perfect. The room was spotless and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the screened in patio right on the dock.

The air-conditioning in our room (#4) just didn't cool the room until early morning. It was as though the air was not turned on until right before we arrived.

everything was so cute and loved having a partial kitchen. loved having the water in the back. wished we could have stayed longer.

the only downside was that it smelled a little bit like mildew, but it's Florida and the place was older, so not really that unexpected

Janette, the Innkeeper, was fabulous and maintains the relaxed and connected-to-the-community vibe of the motel. Unit could be updated, but was comfortable and the location could not have been better - close to everything! Kayaks, bicycles available to use were a fantastic bonus! Awesome, authentic Matlacha Isl stay! Will happily stay at Angler's Inn again.

Great location. Had most anything you might need.

Bed was not comfortable. A dish pan to wash dishes in would’ve been nice. More than one washcloth would’ve been nice for our 5 day stay. I’m all for reusing my bath towel but not so much a washcloth.
