The art deco feel of the hotel was great. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included with our stay and the breakfast was good. Can't beat the location for a stay where you're close to EVERYTHING South Beach. Would absolutely stay here again. The value is very hard to beat. Also to note, there is a public parking garage RIGHT around the corner on 13th and the price is very reasonable for the area (we paid $20/day). It's literally at few hundred feet to walk from the garage to the hotel. If you are familiar with the scarcity of good/cheap long term parking in South Beach, then you know how much of a plus this is!

The location was excellent, just a short walk from the beach, where we had free access to one sun lounger per person at Esteban's Place. The room and hotel in general were clean, tidy and decorated to a high standard. Everyone who worked at reception was very friendly and ready to suggest activities and places to see. Guests get 10% off the restaurant and bar, just make sure to double check your bill.

The hotel is not accessible for wheelchair users. Aside from one lady, the restaurant staff were aloof and uninterested. The quality of the breakfast was hit or miss, we mostly had the pancakes and regretted ordering the scrambled eggs one morning. The sun loungers do not include the use of an umbrella, so we bought one for 30 dollars rather than rent one for 20 dollars a day.

I recently stayed at Cavalier, and I must say the service was exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we felt like truly valued guests. We were warmly greeted by Philip, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful! Although we arrived earlier than the standard check-in time, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us by getting us into our room early. Initially, we weren’t happy with the room, as it was on the first floor, but the staff quickly offered to move us the next day when a new room was available.. We decided to stay, but we appreciated their effort to help. Overall, the staff’s kindness and attention made our stay a great experience. Highly recommend!

the rooms could use a bit of a touch-up. We noticed a loose screw on the side mirror, and some bulbs weren’t working. These small issues didn’t affect our overall experience, but a little maintenance would make the stay even better.

very nice designed rooms, perfect location.

The rooms are extremely noisy. Very poor building standard. The doors have zero sound absorption; you hear every word spoken in the aisle; and when you are close to the elevator, it goes basically through your bed acoustically.

I love older properties, it just brings me back in time. The decor was fabulous and I loved our room, so appealing! The staff is so great and accommodating for all your needs. I loved it was close to the beach and lots of dining options in the area. Just a fabulous place to spend your time in the South Miami Beach area. I did a lot of researching before booking at the Cavalier South Beach Hotel and I couldn’t have chose a better place to stay. Our next adventure in South Miami Beach will definitely be at the Cavalier South Beach Hotel. I just loved it!

The location was perfect. It is on the quiet end of Ocean Drive, but an easy walk to all the action. The lobby is cool and quirky, to match the art deco facade. The first impression of the rooms was great. The decor fits the theme well and the bathrooms are modern.

The rooms are small. Small isn't usually a big deal, but we had no room to open luggage without using the bed or blocking walkways. We were only there for a single night, so we were still happy with our choice.

All the staff were really nice and helpful. Location is perfect.

We bought a everglades tour via them. Although there were cheaper options, we trusted them. They sold us the most shitty tour by adding 50% commission per person. I mean giving extra is not important. I knew there were cheaper options but I trusted hotel for making a good selection. The tour was awful. Even the ac was not working in the bus and imagine Miami heat in August. One more small note. Giving breakfast voucher each day is just burden for both parties. Especially if someone is checking in then you have to wait.

Great location and the hotel team were very helpful and attentive. We arrived during a terrible rainstorm and they helped us dry off and were able to check in straight away. We had dinner in the downstairs restaurant and it was delicious along with a cosy and smart restaurant area and theme.

Unfortunately the road in front of the hotel is closed to traffic which meant our taxi driver couldn't really find the best drop off point. Which in the rain was not ideal.

I loved the hotel the old and luxury vibes it gives , the location was amaaazing close to everything the beach and the restaurants, the bed was realllly comfortable, room service was good and fast , the wifi was good and fast , the staff friendly and professional and the helped me and gave me vinger when we asked because i got stung by a jellyfish

The elevator was old and not very functional but its one floor for our room so its okay , the breakfast quality wasn’t the same everyday one day is really good and the other day is not like the day before , the Ac is realllyy high at the lobby and everywhere

Staying at this hotel was like stepping back in time, with its wonderfully nostalgic decor in both the common areas and the rooms. The food was outstanding, and the beach was just a stone's throw away. Though we had to check out at noon, our flight wasn't until 9 pm. The staff generously allowed us to store our luggage, and even provided towels and chairs for us to use at the beach. We could return to the hotel to freshen up and change in the spacious lounge bathroom. The staff's hospitality truly made our stay exceptional. Highly recommend this fantastic hotel!
