The hotel location is central to just about everything a visitor would want to explore.

I was unaware of the construction taking place across the street which caused street and lane closures to and from the hotel. So, my GPS continued to bring me to the blocked streets and I had to figure out how to go around. Additionally, the walls seemed very thin. Several times a day we’d get cigarette and marijuana odors seeping into the room. The hallway was immersed in the same odors. I understand laws in various states have legalized marijuana, but not everyone smokes that stuff or is okay with smelling it or want it in their clothing. I have asthma and the smell really made my stay in the room unpleasant. I was in town for a church event, and was afraid of smelling like marijuana in church.

The room was comfortable, cozy, and clean. Breakfast was offered daily. The restaurant was available for food service. The hotel was very close to the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute which was the main purpose for our trip.

As soon as you exited the property if you were walking to the main road there were some homeless people laying on the sidewalk. It was just alarming to see that near the hotel. I know that some folks go through hard times for one reason or another, but my heart felt for those homeless people. I was also a little concerned about our safety as my Mom and I walked by this particular area.

At the risk of sounding like a curmudgeon at the tender young age of 56, I find it refreshing that every single member of your staff was an absolute pleasure. In an age where it seems to be the norm that people in the service industry give the unmistakable impression that THEY are doing YOU a favor, the employees at your hotel simply could not have been nicer. Given that most, if not all, of your guests are stressed because they are there for hospital procedures, the employees are a real blessing.

That some of your guest seem to think it's ok to repay the kindness and good service of the staff through the scumbaggery of stealing weights weights from the gym. AND (and I am NOT making this up) if you sleep on the left side of the bed in room 335, the hall light shines through the peephole like a laser through your corneas.

AC was loud and light came in through the main door from the hallway breakfast is good but very limited no sugar options. Unsafe area around the hotel with a lot of homeless and police car, not safe/ comfortable for walking

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and of great value. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I especially am fond of Leda who manages the bar and dining room. She was so very busy running the bar and delivering the food. I would have been overwhelmed, but she was cool-headed and smiled through it all. The only complaint I have is that I was not told at my arrival that I needed to request the cleaning of my room. I was surprised to come back from a long day at work to a messy room. Otherwise, I was very happy with the accommodations.

I wasn't happy that I was not informed at my arrival that I needed to give notice that I wanted my room cleaned. Also, the front desk rarely answered the 0 line.

The facilities were perfect, room was perfect, location was perfect and the restaurant was perfect. The breakfast was more than we were expecting and this place just worked great for our family to visit the VA hospital.

The pool water was a little warm but it was 101 degrees out so.............

The hotel was really nice. All the attendants were nice except the one who checked me out. She was rude and stand offish! I thought I left my chargers, so I called her, once I reached the airport and she still had an attitude.

The bar closed at 8:30 on a Saturday 🤦🏾‍♀️

Breakfast was satisfactory. Scrambled eggs waffles meat sausages fruit packaged pastries and muffins bagels packaged cereals and oatmeal coffee and tea fruit juice

Repetitive but for the price paid for the property no complaints.

Parking is easy. Rooms are big.

Food not great but was adequate. Easy to get to after hospital stay and check ups. Wish you had a rate for hospital patients as we only tend to stay from 3p to 4a and do not use any of your amenities.

The hotel is very close to the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and I was scheduled for surgery there. Its a very short drive away so that was wonderful

For some reason the nightly prices for the room were quite high for a hotel of this category.
