Quality Inn At Eglin AFB

I highly recommend this motel to everyone who is heading to Destin-Ft Walton. It’s about 20 mins or so from the beach but so worth it. Paul and Jay were totally amazing, very friendly and helpful. They have a full breakfast which is awesome. The rooms were clean. We will definitely be staying there again next time we go to Destin Ft Walton area.

It was a nice day. The rooms were clean and everything that was advertised was provided. The staff was very helpful

The shower was good. Place was nice.

The ice/laundry room had water on the floor and there were pallets piled up in the breezeway. Breakfast was ok.

The room was clean and spacious. They have ultramodern lighting in the sink area outside the bathroom. There is a nice sized refrigerator and the room was decorated in a way to honor and respect our Military. I very much appreciated that type of decor. I liked the room.

I think there should be some USB style charging ports installed in these rooms to make them more modern and to conform to the many devices like phones and tablets used by consumers these days.

We stayed there for 2 nights and just drove to Destin. It was a good location food places just mins away. Staff was friendly and breakfast was great. Beds were comfortable the rooms smelled good and no bugs. Kids loved the pool. We will definitely come back and stay.

Make sure breakfast food doesn't run out

Everything was Awesome! Nice cool rooms with working cable and clean too. Even though there was a sign on the front door stating that they were currently short staffed, it was clear that they were making every effort to offer clean hospitable rooms. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Very close to Turkey Creek, a great restaurrant called "Peppers", Wal-Mart, and family that we were visiting. Able to sleep well too.

People were using the pool but there was a sign folded over on the inside of the pool that said the pool was not okay to swim in so my kids were afraid to swim in it and we would have liked to have been able to use the pool. Not sure why the sign was there.

Very clean room & our hotel was right in front of the pool. Easy access to it. Traffic wasn’t terrible in the area & about 25 min from Oakaloosa Island. Staff answered questions. Breakfast was good.

The toilet kept getting clogged and the tv remote wouldn’t work but we did get it fixed. The blind broke as we were pulling it down and that we had to check in after our check in time about 15 min late due to room not being ready still but was pleased with the room overall and the people.

The location’s surrounding of trees brings a sense of privacy to the area.

The door lock for my room wasn’t always cooperative. I had to jimmy it sometimes to get it to open. Also I would’ve appreciated it if the front desk would relay information of a late checkout to the cleaning staff.

The breakfast was delicious. The coffee was excellent. The staff did a great job keeping up with putting food out. There was a variety of food, ie cereal, omelettes, pastries, waffles, toast, grits, biscuits (most mornings) and gravy (most mornings,)

The only complaint I have is that people were piling their plates and taking two or three plates of food. The line for the waffle machine was long. I would suggest adding another waffle machine.

Room and facilities was wonderful. Some of the staff was extremely polite.

Front desk female (Jamaican) was very rude to people. She constantly talked down to my wife and sister. I was in the HCA hospital for a heart attack.
