Good location for us

As soon as we arrived we took our shoes off my 8 year old was wearing light colored socks …. I could feel the sand and grim on the floor when barefoot… After 30 minutes I noticed my child’s socks were black on the bottom …. We h showered and had to wear our shoes to bed then kick them off then into the bed… Wife was furious …. Next morning I contacted a front desk worker and asked for a mop to mop my room… I advised if they didn’t have someone to mop it leave it at the door upon my return I would do it myself …. Upon our return the door was clean … We was there ; Saturday night Sunday night Monday night Tuesday night Deane Danback….

Secora was amazing! I'm sure I'm spelling her name wrong. We had a horrible night at the village and their staff. We left there and went to Motel 6. Here at Motel 6, Secora took great care of me and my friend. This was my first choice, but I thought I'd go with the little guy. GO WITH YOUR GUT FEELING! CLEAN, FRIENDLY FUN! Motel 6 had a right and friendly atmosphere! Right next to 5 dollar store. Conveniently placed to attractions. Can't say enough good things. Shout out to Secora and Motel 6 for turning the lil' vacation around!!😁😁👍⛱️♿️

I got a wild hair on a Friday morning, and decided to drive from Nashville to the nearest beach (with both my dogs) for the weekend. We drove 1,000 miles round-trip in 3 days. THIS MOTEL MADE MY TRIP POSSIBLE. I couldn't find a single other place for us to stay without incurring hefty pet fees, cleaning fees, pet weight limits, etc. This Motel 6 was comfortable, pet-friendly in a way that actually matters, and the staff was so kind. It's 3-5 minutes from any kind of food you can imagine, and less than 10 from the beach. Unfortunately, due to dog laws in Destin, we had to drive over to Pensacola to let my pups play in the sand, but the 45 min drive was easy as pie. Listen - it's a Motel 6, and one that allows dogs. It's not perfect. But the sheets, shower, sink, and eating area were all spotless. There's a pet relief area with doggy bags, a small pool, and a tattoo shop/beach store on the property. Overall, our stay could not have been better for the price we paid. If you and your furry friend are looking for an affordable, clean, welcoming place to stay in the Gulf, I absolutely suggest this place!!

The floor was in desperate need of a good mopping, but was swept and clean of debris/dog hair. I imagine during the busy season, the sound of many dogs barking could be an issue, but we had a very quiet and peaceful stay.

We enjoyed staying at Motel 6 bc it was close to restaurants and excursions. We were able to walk to alot of places without moving our vehicles. The kiddos loved swimming in the pool after a long day at the beach.

That we had to pay extra to be in a room with a microwave & frig. We had mo choice to pay to upgrade bc i have a child on insulin. It should already be included. Had to explain when we needed extra towels. We reserved 2 rooms and had lots of kids so lots of baths and the few towels in the room was not enough. The floors were very dirty. Feels like housekeeping does not mop the rooms. Need to have dressers in the rooms to be able to put clothes in during your stay.

From the moment we checked in the service was exceptional. The receptionist was amazing and welcoming, and the house keepers were as well. Our room was very clean and already cool for us! Which is a first for me staying in hotels. The beds were super comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. We will definitely be picking this hotel for our next vacation to Destin Florida!

We loved everything about the place. The room was great, the mattress was comfortable and slept well on them. The staff was great. This place is updating everything as I speak.I would recommend this motel to family, friends, and anyone going to Destin,FLA. WE WILL BE BACK!

We checked in on Sunday and checked out on Friday. The pool was shutdown on Tuesday. Never to be reopened while we were there%on our vacation. They could have given a refund on the stay"but we will stay there again.

Overall the stay was great one employee on the night shifts was very helpful and nice even kept the pool available fa a few mins longer which was sweet of her for the ones that didn't want to go to the beach. Beds ang room size was amazing.

Offered more drinks and add some kind of cereal or something for breakfast instead of just coffee also have full room service for the ones doing stay overs with parking the kind of money for you to have to do it yourself.thats the main thing I didn't like about the hotel

The room was a nice size. It was clean and comfortable. The air worked great and had a nice shower. We was very happy that we were able to bring our dog. Also had a nice pool. No complaints. We would stay again. w

Could use more hooks to hang towels etc.

I like that I was able to get my room and my sister’s room right next to each other even though she hadn’t yet arrived to check in. I love that the rooms ended up being adjoining. Dorothy was very helpful. It was nice and cool when we walked in, which was appreciated since it was a long hot car ride.

When my sister got to her room after midnight, we realized her bed was broken on one side. It worked well enough for the one night but it was broken. Room 207 in Destin.

It was quite the 2 nights we stayed rooms was clean beds was super comfortable good TV didn't get to check out the pool due to rain both days

Only thing I didn't like was the toilet set to low to ground I'm a tall guy hard to sit down on them and toilet bowl was way to small and no refrigerator
