Location excellent,

Bathroom floor was not clean, tv in the room not working.

The concierge staff is unprofessional -the 2 Hispanic or Brazilian ladies - think 1 was a manager and the other seemed to not know much so had to call on the manager- eating while assisting and not very thorough giving out vague information and pressuring and rushing us to get the unlimited I-Link pass since it was our first time and we just need to get to universal . We buy it and wait at the stop which we found on our own and waited there for 20 mins until walking Back to the hotel concierge to let them know and request a refund and the manager says “I didn’t see you standing out there “ almost accusing us of lying. Wonderful hotel and staff otherwise! Just find more helpful and friendly people to work the concierge desk.

the bug in the room, the bathroom tub wasn’t that clean and the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling.

I love how big the corner suites are for my family and I. I love the location.

Sometimes the staff can be rude especially at the front desk. The pool isn’t appealing and they don’t have a jacuzzi. Although, I enjoy the breakfast, the options are redundant. I wish they would change it up sometimes. Chicken patties and a biscuit, sausage gravy with a biscuit, hash browns, they only bring out more choices when there is a overflow of guest. A nice breakfast but needs more variety. Also, l think they really need to remodel the look of this hotel. It’s a little outdated to say the least.

The greeting upon check-in was friendly and fast! They were extremely busy when we checked in about 11:30pm, but they didn't hesitate to get us up to our room ASAP. We needed extra towels, and they didn't have any at the time, but by the time we finished unloading, they gave us fresh towels. I love that they have to buzz their guests into the building and that all rooms are inside. Also, I love the breakfast buffet and the length of time that breakfast lasts. The severs and chefs were friendly as well. The housekeepers were professional and friendly when ever I encountered them. Anything extra that we needed, it was provided without hesitation. I loved the room set-up and my small children enjoyed their first ever hotel stay. I will definitely stay again.

We had a double bed room, I would prefer at least Queen beds, but these were full size beds. We have 2 toddlers and a teen, but luckily their was also a pull-out bed, so our 1-year old had a bed to himself and the other children were excited to sleep on the pull-out bed as they had never seen one before.

location was awesome! everything was clean, and staff was friendly and accommodating

our ac wasn’t working properly. they did offer to move our room, which was appreciated, but it was late and inconvenient. they did provide a fan for our comfort. also appreciated. we were also on the side of the highway. the first night we heard loud highway traffic all night long, but with a small sound video for sleep that played all night the second night, we slept amazingly well and heard nothing!

Our family needed a safe place to evacuate to for hurricane Ian. Every staff member at the Embassy Suites ICON in Orlando went above and beyond to help. They communicated closely with guests during the hurricane, provided the hot breakfast guaranteed each morning and took appropriate safety measures as the hurricane approached Orlando. As a pet friendly facility, they took every measure to help us. They set up a temporary relief center so we did not have to go out in the windy and rainy elements. The front desk staff was particularly attentive! Overall, we had a respite from the storm in a calm and comfortable environment!

There was nothing that we disliked.

Happy hour was a great extra touch! Loved it. So nice to have the free drinks and snacks during happy hour. Beds are so comfortable! Omelettes were very good. Hotel is very, very clean. Pool is in close proximity to bar and eating space. While kids are playing in pool parents can grab a drink.

A little cooler of temperature in hotel especially near pool area. Wanted a warmer inside temperature for the pool location. Pool area has openings to main hotel and lobby area. Would have liked it closed so the area would be warmer. Whenever I came out the pool it felt cold. The pool water itself was very warm and enjoyable but the temperature of the inside air and pool area was cold.

The room was lovely, the breakfast has everything on, something for everyone. It does get busy at times leaving no where to sit but other than that the breakfast is exceptional! We traveled for the convention centre and everyone in the team loved it! The Bar can get busy at happy hour but the bar man works extremely hard to get everyone served!

the queue when everyone gets up at breakfast at the same time and the queue at happy hour but these cant be helped.

Property was in a very good area it has a lot of things to do around it and if you are going to Disneys parks

They don’t have shuttles that goes to all Disney parks and the 2 parks that they have them for you have to walk to another hotel to get them that’s if you make the cut because it’s first come first served so we had to take Lyft to every park and rooms out dated
