Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa

Wonderful family spot with huge condos that afford room and privacy for a large family or families. Beautiful views of the ocean from our unit - and a beautiful golf course, too. Lots of activities for all ages. There are not too many dining out options as there were only 2 restaurants and one was always booked so we ended up at the pub - it was nice, the food was good and the service was very kind. The units have fully equiped kitchens so cooking for a large family is a good option. Overall it was a lovely family reunion.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite and it was spacious and beautiful view.

This is our second time here and both times I have arrived at 4:00pm and the rooms have never been ready on time. First time the room was delayed 45 minutes, no big deal I went to the bar and grabbed a drink. This time my room was not ready till 6:00pm 2 hours later of the expected checkin time, huge deal when traveling with little ones who are already tired from the road trip. In addition they DO NOT compensate that time at checkout, they simply apologize and told me No Late checkout availability at the moment which seem pretty unfair. The rooms also need some upkeep and maintenance both times I have found either loose screws, or something not functioning right.!

We had a fantastic time. The property was clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and on several occasions very helpful. My children had a wonderful time at the fantasy pool. We all enjoyed the lazy River and water slide. My husband and I ate at 2 of the restaurants during our stay. The restaurant staff was friendly and courteous A big plus for us was having Publix right down the road. If you decide to stay at Hammock Beach Resort, be sure to sign up for the complimentary photo session. The photographer took some great photos of my family on the beach.

We LOVED the Golf courses, the beautiful trees and landscaping everywhere, the restaurants, the easy access to the beach with chairs and umbrellas provided, the friendly and helpful staff, and the spacious clean room with the most amazing view of the beach and golf course!

The only thing that was disappointing was the very long check-in process. The groups in front of me each took a very long time, as it appeared they were signing up for memberships or something much more detailed. When it was my turn, it took no longer than 3 minutes to just check-in. It would be very helpful if 1-2 of the check-in tables could be designated just for those ready and prepared to check-in and the other tables for those inquiring more information regarding memberships and what the resort has to offer.

Resort was absolutely gorgeous, clean & comfy. I was impressed with several bartenders first Denise made an absolutely one of the best chocolate martinis I have ever had, the other bartender was Ralph, they were both extremely friendly & attentive.

I was disappointed with no room service, also the expense of eating within the resort was astronomical and the food lacked flavor. During our stay we missed several amenities and activities because lack of guidance. Also every thing closed entirely to early.

My two bedroom villa was a bit outdated I didn’t realize that it was a timeshare which is fine … just for the price I expected at least a renovated villa but still was a great trip…. Half the tv’s didn’t work and they need to update to steaming or fire sticks on all the tv’s in that particular villa

very convenient - loved that there were places to eat on the property! didn’t have to leave etc. the staff was super friendly and helpful. beautiful grounds to walk. beach was nice!

I didn’t like the fitness center didnt open till 7! the tv changer and phone in my room (233 did not work). You have to pay for black coffee and it’s not available till 7 as well. if you are a early riser you’ll be waiting etc.

The area was beautiful. The staff was marvelous and courteous. The Condo and view was everything I wanted. It was my guy birthday and he stated the best birthday he ever had. The property is well kept. Restaurants are on the property sp you don't have to leave. Easy beach access and enough pools and hot tubs to enjoy. I most definitely visit again.

The parking garage is a little tight but nothing to fuss about. We wanted to stay an extra day and it was booked to capacity :(

Hammock Beach was more than we expected! We were greeted by bellman/valet, Ron, who was super fun and very accommodating to assist in checking in and taking luggage to room. Our room was wonderful and had everything we needed. The balcony with table/chairs were fantastic and enjoyed every morning for breakfast...enjoying the morning quietness and beach views with sunrise. We enjoyed casual walk to the beach...towels, umbrella/chairs were available, the Atlantic Grille was located to enjoy the beach and golf course, the food at Atlantic Grille was delicious (waiter Pedro was great!). We thoroughly enjoyed the indoor pool, spa tubs, lazy river...had to drag my 80 yo sister away from all three! As you can tell, we had a marvelous time! Perhaps, we will make it an annual event!

That overnight, without notification, 2 of the restaurants were closed for renovations. The Atlantic Grille, only restaurant open, seemingly did not have enough staff to take reservations!

The villa we stayed was very spacious. The property was beautiful. Restaurant staff was great.

Terry at the check in had a bad attitude almost as if we were bothering him by being there. Pool manager was rude and not helpful. However a very nice pool area tender named Sky made us feel like we mattered and went above and beyond to make up for manager’s rude customer service. Sky should be the manager!
