Location and pet friendly. Facility was clean and staff was very good.

Gas smell near gas meter and laundry room. I reported to maintenance man and he said it was coming from dryers in laundry. I worked in all levels of gas industry for 40 years and it is not normal for the strong smell of gas in a laundry room. I am going to report it to the gas company serving the resort. I hope they will make sure everyone is safe.

the beach is wonderful. the hotel is clean and staff great. the shuttle to downtown is a great option.

we don’t ask for our room to be cleaned daily . I’m a week we asked once. all they did was make the bed and change towels. they didn’t clean anything. it’s dog friendly. love that but I had to ask gram to wash and clean the dog water bowl by the gate leading to the beach. I feel they should pay more attention to this our small refrigerator had a freon leak. it made me sick. I feel they should have not only changed it out but brought fans in to remove fumes. we should have been sent to another room. I was sick two days

The staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious, and we were comfortable. We appreciated the pet friendly facility. The beach was beautiful. A little challenging to get to with the 2 sets of stairs on the gazebo to climb with chairs, towels, etc. It would be nice to have a ramp, boardwalk that goes to the end of the path to the beach. The pool was lovely, and we chose to use the pool area instead of the beach. It was a little noisy at times due to work being done, and some of the workers were smoking and it blew over to the pool area.

The washers and dryers in the laundry room are in a sad state of disrepair, some not functioning, others just barely useable. The lint traps in the dryers have been so over used that they will not fit in the slot.

The personal was nice. Iloved the opportunity to check in from my phone. The space in the bedroom where great.

I was expecting a vetter water view. Was not what expected. I wanted a balcony to be able to do my devocional and have relax time with view but my view was the appt complex and the parking lot. So we didn't used the balcony and we pay extra for that 🤷‍♀️

The pool was great because it is a saltwater mix.

Our room was not made up each day. There was not much in the room like paper and pen, a book with local eats and attractions like I'm used to. I thought I was paying for a better view of the ocean but the partial view was disappointing and far away from the beach.

The breakfast was delicious. Hubs ordered pancakes, I ordered the omelette. We also ate a late dinner in the restaurant. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. Husband ordered the cheeseburger with bacon. Enjoyed them very much! My husband also enjoyed a margarita and an Old Fashion during our stay.

We didn’t like barking dogs all around us while in our room. We were afraid we would be kept awake at night, but we were not.

We really enjoyed the on-site amenities including the restaurant and the pool. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner on separate day and both meals were delicious. We enjoyed how private the beach felt as well as being able to rent umbrellas and chairs for the day. My mom has a bad neck and knee it was so helpful having the chairs and umbrella set up for us rather than having to do it ourselves. The room was pretty spacious and our hallway was very quiet, even with some dog guests staying right next door! The employees were very courteous and helpful! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

We had an issue with our sink where it was not draining properly. We called the front desk and it was quickly addressed and fixed (they literally were knocking on the door to fix it within five minutes of us calling to report the issue).

We enjoyed the overall feeling of being relaxed. We had a 4th flood ocean view that included seeing the beautiful pool. The resort is smaller than expected, but it had everything we needed. There is a gift shop of Guy Harvey merchandise, a bar, indoor and outdoor restaurant, convention space, courtyard area where we spent a lot of time, and the pool area had a tiki bar with lots of places to sit. The gate from the pool guides you to a large wooden gazebo where there is a large bowl of water for you dog and a short walkway that leads to the beach. The food at the restaurant was great for all meals. We also watched a SpaceX rocket night launch. My photos are usually of the outside.

We cannot think of anything that fell short. I would have appreciated another option without carbs, such as meat and veggies. As a Type 1 Diabetic, it is difficult finding meals without being loaded with empty carbs that my body cannot process.

Loved the beachfront location and dog friendly atmosphere. The pool area was very clean and the pool attendant did a fantastic job monitoring for lightening in the area! The renovated bathrooms had amazing shower stalls and water pressure.

Well, when we initially checked in at 2:45pm we were given 325 with a partial ocean view and newly renovated bathroom with great shower pressure. Unfortunately, the elevator and the elevator shaft right next to our room made horrific grinding noises and shook violently when it "landed." We went to the front desk and they recommended the room directly across the hall. We checked it out and not only did the bathroom have a rusty tub with scratches all over and splintered wood on the bottom of the doorframe, we could STILL hear that elevator grinding through the closed door. Finally, they gave us room 228 overlooking the pool and far away from the noisy, shaky elevator. We took the dark stairway during our stay.

I loved the location! It has a great outdoor pool, cool gift shop, picnic area/gazebo, private boardwalk to a calm, beautiful St. Augustine Beach! It’s also just minutes from downtown! It basically has everything there you could need, and if not, it is surrounded by other businesses!

I felt that some of the rooms had an old/outdated feel. The doors in the bathroom looked a little rough. Paint was chipping off of the bottom. Upon entering the lobby to check in, we were not greeted at the counter. I had to say hello first. The staff was polite, but not exactly welcoming. Also, I picked a partial room/balcony. I didn’t realize it would literally be a tiny partial view… I mean, I get it, but it wasn’t what I was going for based off of the pictures!
