I love old, quiet seashore inns - as in, not modern, not fancy. Simple. Just the right size. I lived at a Jersey old shore town for many years and that quiet vibe is quickly disappearing as condos and 'McMansions' take over the entire east coast USA- so things are never quiet and never have that simple sea breeze on wood fence and Aidirondack chair on porch type of feel anymore. Sea Surf lodge has maintained the original shore feel, walking distance to the beach- and I am very happy. Will go back -- it did not feel like a business trip in a hotel, which modern hotels always end up making me feel

The remodel of the outside area and office is wonderful, as well as the rooftop deck. Parking was ample,pool was great....and of course, Meg made everything even better. What a gem you have there!! This is a great location to the beach, as well as the mainland. I cant wait to see the improvements made to the rooms. This is gem is a diamond in the rough, so happy I came across it. Traveling alone, I felt safe, and met some very nice people.

The rooms need updated, perhaps a small bar/counter area. The towels need to be replaced also.

Wonderful stay -very homey feeling Friendly and professional staff. We liked our room especially since the weather was cool and we were able to open the windows and door (there was a screen door!!!) We cooked on their outdoor grill relaxed by the pool and had an evening cocktail on the upstairs deck. We also took a strool on the beach which wasn't far, we walked around the neighborhood- safe and quiet with a few restaurants close by. We would totally recommend Seaspray Surf Lodge for a relaxing no stress stay.

Although the building is older they do maintain it well. Its not a bad thing just a little dated.

The uniqueness of this hotel and the celebration of simpler times with preservation of the past is much appreciated. We felt like we were in our own backyard, with free rein of the premises and an extremely welcoming, neighborly, and accommodating host in Meg. Extremely laid back, all the guests walked around happily, hanging by the pool or playing games and cards in the courtyard. My husband and I had a sunset drink in Adirondack chairs. My two sons shared our room and said they were so comfy and slept really well. When we first arrived I was called to by name from the parking lot and told, "Welcome! Your room is unlocked and I left your key on the bed and the air conditioner on." It was a bed and breakfast feel in a 1950s hotel setting. In the laundry room, you could grab whatever you need to take to the beach, to use in the kitchenette, or if you forgot a toiletry. We were right across from the beautiful wide beaches of Vero, so the location is really great. We will definitely be coming back and staying longer next time to explore more. It was wonderfully quirky and delightful. A charmer with personality, don't let the initial first look deceive you.

The bath towels could be bigger and thicker.

The hotel is located a very short walk to the beach entrance. it has a great vibe and is equipped with everything you would want. we had a full kitchen, lots of coffee, sun tan lotion, beach chairs and beach towels. we spent an evening on the cute rooftop patio. The grounds are lovely. it feels like an old school surf motel in the best way. Most importantly, Meg who runs the property is amazing. She truly cares about her guests’ experience. She made sure our family of 4 had the best possible room for our needs and was incredibly kind and generous with check out. She truly made our short holiday. We had the best time.

Superb location one block from Vero Beach's best public beach. We received a very friendly greeting on arrival, our suite was spacious with everything you would need to stay a week or more. There was a small but very pleasant pool and garden area (with gas grill), plus rooftop deck, all with nice lounge chairs. Beach chairs and towels to borrow. Casual vibe. We'll be back.

Very little. One of the other guests was cursing quite a bit on a cell phone call by the pool. Not the hotel's fault.

This was a cute little place. Very beautiful outside. Meg was awesome and made us welcome. Inside and out, it’s clean…nothing fancy inside but has a lot of potential if the interiors were as updated as the exterior.

It wasn't insulated well, like most south FL older dwellings, and we shivered indoors during the unseasonably cold weather. If the temperature is over 50, it’s great!

The motel is a hidden gem just a 2 minute walk to the beach ! The manager Meg, was a big part of the great experience I had ! She was always upbeat, and willing to go the extra mile, to make sure all her guests, had a great experience ! Very clean property, nice pool, old school quaint motel, that I will definitely visit again, and again !

Sea Spray Inn is an old-fashioned motel and our room wasn't swanky, but we loved having a separate bedroom so we could talk after the kid was asleep and we saved a ton of money using the small kitchen to make breakfast and lunches. The big refrigerator held milk and soda and doggie bags of leftovers and stuff for quick lunches. The beach was an easy walk away...last parking space in the beach lot was less than 15 feet from where we parked our car at the Sea Spray. Pool was clean and warm. The staff was incredibly friendly and very kind to my special needs son who often earns only glares.

The microwave was small, making it hard to make popcorn which my kid thinks is one of the four major food groups. Air conditioning did not reach bathroom or bedroom if the doors were closed but was fine as long as we kept the door between the rooms open.

We love this little hidden gem. This was our second stay and they continue to make improvements. The roof top deck is new to us and we spent a lot of time up there. They are currently working on the area around the pool so there are workers out there all day. The beach is only a block away so we spent our days there. Our bed and pillows were super comfortable and the room was clean. This is a basic old Florida style hotel and yes, the bathrooms are small. If you’re looking for luxury you may want to go elsewhere. If you’re looking for a charming, quiet place with friendly staff, quiet, and a great location this is the place for you. Also thank you for the wine!
