From the moment you drive onto the circular drive to check in, you transcend time to mid Century America to an upscale boutique motel. Jeff at the front desk has the best “my pleasure’ attitude ensuring your stay will exceed expectations. Gary, the GM, with his decades of hospitality experience (I swear) predicts what every guest needs. Our room was comfortably appointed with comfy comforters, beach towels, chairs to relax on inside and outside of our room, refrigerator and microwave. Do not miss the Ryder’s Market to pick up pre-made fresh salads, sandwiches and a bottle of wine. You can envision families from the 50s playing croquet or shuffle board in the courtyard. The pool is a perfect boutique size to cool off and chat with other guests. The breakfast cart in the mornings and champagne happy hour on Fridays and Saturdays is an extra special touch. Islander Inn is a gem on Vero Beach and we are looking forward to another Sister’s Weekend!

Loved the beach bungalow style of the rooms. Very relaxing aesthetic of the whole property. They have robes, beach towels, bikes, beach chairs. The property was very clean even though it was a tile floor I felt no sand on my feet( I have sensory issues). The beds are comfy and big windows allow for a lot of natural light or u can close blackout shades if you like to sleep in. It’s the perfect location if you want to walk to the shop and only a 2 minute walk through the beach. There is a playground across the street as well in Humiston park if u bring little ones. This cozy inn and the kindest GM made me wish I was staying longer.

The pool was smaller than it appeared in pictures but it was the perfect size if you just want to take a quick dip. Most people don’t really use them at the beach.

Charming little motel with around twenty rooms 100 meters from the beach You are on the main street with all the restaurants You can do everything by walk or by bike Everything is perfect here The rooms are spacious and very clean Gary the general manager is very very nice and helpful It's very nice to spent time with him and talk to him the whole team is really fantastic !! There is a zen attitude which is very appreciable Friday and Saturday the manager offers champagne from 5.30 p.m. Drink a glass of champagne while chatting around the pool... nothing better In the morning you can enjoy the breakfast which is served in the central square... really great!! Very nice swimming pool We will be back next year for sure!!

We absolutely loved everything about this property. Its very retro so don’t expect any glitzy touches that add to the cost but want an affordable, clean place to stay, this property is for you! The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating and the property is extremely neat and clean. You can tell that they take a lot of pride in their property. I especially loved the comfy table and chairs outside each unit and the coffee and delicious muffins each morning in the courtyard. The location was amazing, just a few steps to the beach and in an area with many shops and restaurants. There really was no reason not to like this property. A gem!

Front desk staff (Jeff and Olga) were super friendly, attentive and accommodating! The room was bright and clean. The pool and pool area were great and had a few toys for the kids. the garden and hammocks were a nice touch. The location is perfect, across the street from a wonderful playground and the gorgeous beach. coffee, tea and muffins in the a.m. were very much appreciated! though healthier muffins would be nice for those that can’t tolerate so much sugar.

The small kitchen area had only 2 chairs. Some of the cookware was not really clean when we opened the cupboard. The shower had only one setting - extreme blast and no bathtub. It was not comfortable for getting two small children bathed. Perhaps we should have booked a larger room. the hammocks needed to be cleaned.

Location, the cottage feel of the room, the friendliness of the staff, I have wanted to stay here as i have been going to Vero Beach all of my life to see grandparents. Its iconic and wonderful, did not disappoint. Loved the old school feel! No coffee service in room, was going to go to Cravings as they are around corner and open at 6:30. I walked out of my room and the coffee station was right there, fresh hot coffee, tea, ice cold water and muffins.... awesome!

I think they are in a bit of transition, once the rooms are updated, still with an old Florida vibe it, it will be perfect.

| I've in FL, and wanted to do. a beach wkend and get out of the house with my kids and I found this place in cheap last min hotel site'. The location was directly across the street (30 sec walk) resterants and cool boutiques all over and my favorite 😍 A Kilwins candy store on the same Block across the street is a huge park you cut through to get to beach. Staff was so helpful. ❤️❤️😍 that place 100% count back on🏖

We evacuated from Sarasota for Hurricane Ian and Jeffrey, Olga and Gregory we more than accommodating! The room was clean, coffee and muffins were a great start to our mornings and we were located within walking distance of ample shopping and dining opportunities, on top of being across the street from the beach! As our power was still out at home when it was time for us to check out, they were incredibly gracious when we asked to extend our stay. Everyone was so friendly and kind, our evacuation turned into an evacu-cation! They earned all of the thumbs up and more stars than are in the sky! Thank you for a wonderful experience during a stressful event! We can’t wait to return again to the Islander Inn for our next staycation!

We had zero complaints!

Location. Across the street from public beach. Few hundred feet in the opposite direction very cool gourmet convenience store. Staff can make or break a place and the staff here were excellent. Ice cold mini-fridge. Rock-solid WiFi. Comfortable beds.

Ceiling fan could use a light kit. Sink and bathtub were clogged. No lock on balcony door. Took me five minutes to figure out the chain lock on the main door, needs instructions.

Great coffee and muffins were served for breakfast in the courtyard area which was nice. The hotel is in an excellent for families since there is a wonderful park across the street and just beyond that is the beach. Also within walking distance to nice shops and many restaurants. As a bonus, you can walk a block and be at the farmers market that is held every Saturday! Looking for to staying again in the fall or winter.

Not really anything that I didn't like!
