DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta Northwest/Marietta

The hotel was very modern and decorated well inside. The staff was friendly as well. The hotel is about a mile walk to Truist park, which is great; the hotel did offer shuttle services to/from the game which was unexpected!

We booked a room with a balcony, which didn’t have the best view. It overlooked a rooftop that was not meant to be attractive in the least! But there was a storm that passed overnight and the balcony door must not have sealed very well because you could hear the wind loudly seeping in through the balcony door. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Nice and clean

They said I would have a balcony with pool view but the pool view was the roof covering the enclosed pool.

Located close to Truist Park. A little walk 1.5 miles note parking around the park is very pricey. The price for rooms in this area was good and the rooms were clean and nice.

As for most places, computers do have glitches, and this stay was no exception. Stood in a line for 10 min., till the stations that were working call for next person.

What I liked about our stay at the Doubletree by Hilton Atlanta NW/Marietta was that when we first arrived, everyone greeted us! I loved that and I felt more than welcomed. This wasn’t just on our first day either, this was a every time we crossed paths with one another. It was a wonderful and so pleasant. Meeting Mr. Brown was a huge highlight of our trip too because Mr Brown helped accommodate us to his fullest extent! We checked into our room and noticed we didn’t have a balcony, which was what we wanted and Mr. Brown got us just that! I was speechless and so grateful! Mr. Brown was wonderful and All of their staff are too!!!! He also provided us with 2 complimentary drink cards and we enjoyed that too! Best glass of Hennessy we ever had and our lady bartender was divine! She was so sweet and very kind! I also can’t forget to mention the Doubletree cookies!!!!! The best cookies in the world and they gave us PLENTY!!!!! I was completely stuffed with chocolate chip goodness and walnuts:) They even gave us some for the road! At this point, I was speechless! The hotel was a great location and not too far from anything, I mean anything at all! The pool water and jacuzzi were incredible! The best water I have ever felt anywhere and it was insanely beautiful!!!! We had an endless time during our stay here!!! We also had dinner and the food was untouchable!!!!! I can go on and on. Our double tree stay was the best time I have ever had in my life hands down! I wish we were there so much longer😭🥺❤️

What I did not like was the dining service at the restaurant. The dining service during our time at the restaurant was very poor because that evening, our male server with a beard spent all of his time laughing with a group of guys at the bar instead of checking on us at all. I know we didn’t have alcohol but we still wanted refills and stuff like that. Dinner wasn’t cheap either, that was the only disappointment during our stay.

The pool water was a little dirty.

Customer service was great. Location was good and the room was clean. Plus, there were multiple ways to get downstairs without using the elevator. The gym was amazing. The best thing about DoubleTree is the fresh hot cookie.

Nothing really. If I had to come up with something, it would the concession store. All items/snacks were pricey.

Close to Battery Park and walkable to the stadium. The shuttle doesn’t fit many people, so plan for that, but it doesn’t take long to get back and forth. Room was comfortable and as expected. Parking was plentiful

Slow elevators

The staff was exceptional! The hotel was clean and comfortable! The food was great! LOVE the nice, warm indoor pool 😍

My room was very clean and comfortable! Just needs a little refresh in the restroom, and more lighting at the full length mirror.

I did not have breakfast at the hotel. However, I did review the breakfast menu and I thought the food choices were great. I like that there is a coffee machine with coffee and condiments for my 2 night stay.

I didn't like not having a microwave or refrigerator in the room. I had bottled water that became room temperature and I would like to be able to drink cold water while in my hotel room
