The property was relaxing and peaceful. Very similar to being on a resort. There is a full garden, pool, 5 star restaurant and a super relaxing swing that I enjoyed spending my morning on. I had a reservation at the restaurant which was divine. Kirsten (i believe was her name) was very attentive and made me feel very welcomed. All of the staff were very welcoming and made me feel at home. The rooms were clean and spacious with a gorgeous view of the flower garden from the terrace. Everything was top tier from check in to check out. Even the guy landscaping the lawn was friendly and asked if I was enjoying my stay. I plan to return several times a year if I can. It was refreshing to be away from the business of the city.

The inn is nestled into the woods with a clearing on one side creating a quiet, serene atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious and you have the option of eating in the dining area or having it delivered to your room.

The lack of tv in the room. But there is a huge tv room and it provided to perfect opportunity to watch opening season college football and meet other guests.

The view from the rooms and rocking chairs on the balcony. I loved that there were no tvs in the room, really gave me time to read and create art.

Breakfast hours were too late for me to be able to have breakfast there. I had to leave early for conferences.

The location was superb, close driving distance to hiking trails and waterfalls. Beautiful and serene surroundings. Loved having outdoor breakfast in front of the blooming garden, singing birds, bees and hummingbirds.

Soundproof walls. We could hear conversations in neighboring rooms.

It was unbelievably Beautiful….! We loved every moment we were there… The restaurant and the Food was outstanding ….. We WILL be back!!!!!!! You all made our stay memorable !!!❤️

a one mile drive on a dusty gravel road - especially when you are on a motorcycle- also the bedrooms are on the small side

Secluded, peaceful and quiet!!! Beautiful area to sit on the porch and relax!!! The restaurant was wonderful, warm and cozy and the food was delicious!!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great place for a couples getaway!!!

The wine list was skimpy, but the food was so delicious, we didn't mind having just sn average bottle of wine.

Everything was amazing. the room, the view, the location. Ed the property manager/owner was incredibly nice and helpful for everything we need it. i will definitely recommend it and can’t wait to go back .

Beautiful property off the beaten path. Well maintained to be almost 150 years old. Gorgeous flowers and gardens everywhere. A large saltwater pool was delightful for swimming and floating!

Didn’t enjoy the gravel road entrance.

This place is a gem. Exactly what we were looking for: peace in the middle of the mountains of Georgia. Super clean! Cookies and coffee at our reception. Views from the room are amazing!

Rooms are extremely close to each other. At 5:30 am our neighbors staying upstairs begun to walk… we couldn’t sleep anymore.
