The Limelight Inn

Beautiful room and property, nice main “lobby”/visitor center. Very clean, cute set up, modern design. Room was really beautiful. Enjoyed the stay very much - perfect midweek getaway

1) The property does feel a little deserted because it is unstaffed, though the intro email /information did address that issue. There were two other guests staying at the facility on a Wednesday evening, judging by the vehicles, just no staff present in the evening/overnight hours. Took some adjusting to, BUT conversely, it was very private and quiet. 2) NOT a big deal, the highway was within 109 yards close so the road noise was somewhat noticeable (but ONLY when outside, not at all when inside). 3) (suggestion) Would be nice to have a screen for the balcony slider door. (Of course, people would probably break them)

This place is a hidden gem! Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms are very beautiful! Everything you need is provided. Breakfast is first class! From the very best coffee to fresh fruit, homemade pancakes, egg dishes which change daily, bagels, croissants, yogurts, granola. The dining area is beautiful too with an outdoor patio looking into the woods. Lots of cardinals who by the way say good morning everyday by peeking into your windows. This is an extention to the Chapel in the Woods located nearby. Three sisters own and operate both establishments.

Can't think of anything I didn't like. Maybe that we had to leave!

They had a well filled fridge with lots of good food. quiche, fruit cups, yoghurt , sweet bread, bagels, good hot beverages and juices. It was all with great quality. You ate in the Hospitality room with tables, couches in front of fireplace, in a light filled big room. We couldn't get the fire place on, so ask more about that. These are new buildings with fresh, modern style. The bedroom had everything you could need, with wonderful bedding, shower and a balcony. The landscaping is clean and nice with outdoor seating. Overall we wish the owners success for they invested and created a beautiful place.

We got the room an hour early which we appreciated. The ceiling is high and the room was cold. It worried us first, but the heat pump came on quickly and when we came back later it was warm and cosy and I didn't need that extra blanket. Normally I don't spend this much for a night at a hotel or inn, but this was a special occasion and it was worth it.

The room were spacious and looks very clean and cozy. The balcony with the view to the wooded area of the property was great. I was grateful to find breakfast options for me as I can’t have gluten or black pepper.

The only thing I can point out is the proximity of my room to the main road. I can hear the cars passing by through the night.

Breakfast was great! Rooms were clean. Easy to access. Nice and quiet. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

The rug at the end of the bed needs something to keep it from slidding. Slid a couple times walking on it. The light on your sign from the door was broken and facing away from the sign, making the hotel hard to see at night. My boyfriend fixed it. :)

Attention to detail was apparent. We met one of the owners and she was so friendly and kind. Just what we were looking for. Loved the feel, and the rooms were just spectacular - the size, the view, and the amenities.

Everything about his stay was excellent. Location, comfort, quiet is what we were looking for and we found it here. Anytime I do a winery tour or visit Dahlonega in the future, this is where I will be staying!

There was nothing that I didn't like about this place.

The room was great, location was great!

The 2 big windows are great for light, but terrible for sleep. Please put curtains on the upper windows for future guests! We didn't enjoy waking up at 6am.

The location was excellent, the accommodations were beyond our expectations and the rooms private balcony looked out over a heavily wooded ravine. The staff was great and very accommodating. Would recommend this facility highly and plan to use it again when we visit this area.

Everything was great. There was nothing that needed to be improved upon.

It was comfortable, casual and very accommodating. Loved the main room for evening glass of wine and playing cards. Outdoor picnic tables were great for breakfast or snacks

Only one thing-chairs on room decks were covered in bird droppings. Could not use them. Maybe they should be stacked inside until guest take them Out to use?
