Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Macon North, GA

Room was bigger than expected. Had plenty of room to get comfortable. Breakfast was pretty decent.

When we arrived nobody was at the front desk. Stood there for several minutes. Called them on the phone nobody answered. Yelled out for someone nobody ever came. We had just drove 5 hours. It was late at night and we just wanted to go to sleep. Finally went walking around the hotel and found an employee. He came to the front to check us in and gave me the hardest time about our reservation. Saying it was never received they didn't have any rooms available and every excuse in the book but I kept insisting it was there then he finally put my name in and magically my reservation popped up. About 30 minutes later we were able to get into our room.

The hotel was nice and clean. They did have some construction going on but it was quiet.

We had to pay $100 deposit per night per room. Which I believe is a little outrageous, I would have understood if it was a bigger hotel, had room service options, or even a store for you to charge. But to us it was a little steep for just a basic hotel with no extra amenities.

It was like staying at a luxury hotel, the bedding was wonderfully fresh and new and expensive looking. The bedroom setup was spacious and a little different then your ordinary hotel which was pleasant. This was the best nights sleep of our entire 16 day trip. And we will stay here enduring we come thru as a coordinated destination for stop over. Very clean and great breakfast setup. Best staff we encountered, was thanked by the gentlemen in the morning for taking care of the alarm so they communicated well with the night staff which is unheard of in most places. Just a wonderful experience to be made to feel like part of their family. Night staff recommended good places to eat in the area and spent a few moments chatting with us which was pleasant.

When we first came in the room the smoke alarm was going off so I asked the front desk for permission to remove it and then just climbed up and unplugged it and gave it to them for a battery replacement. Not a big deal!

Tammyus was very quick and efficient at check-in. She was helpful in helping us determine where to eat. Check-out in the morning was also very easy. We were not expecting a hot breakfast because of Covid, but was provided with an abundance of choices, including fresh waffles. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great stay.

The bathroom was up to date, and our only request is too have a second horizontal grab-bar in the shower for safety.

Multiple stays here. Clean, comfy beds, hot shower, quiet and accommodating. Great rate at Booking.com! Very friendly young lady (Ziarra? forgive me, I couldn't quite read your name badge) at the evening desk. We didn't use it, but the pool and fitness center appeared to be open, but not the hot tub- you may want to call about that. No hot breakfast yet, but I didn't expect one.

Our fridge seemed to have a problem, but they offered to move us if we'd like, w did not. A sad observation on Covid: a very cheerful night clerk, a very fearful morning clerk (he wouldn't come within 6' of the glass partition with both of us masked), a good reminder to me of different perspectives as I travel.

The room was wonderful, large and clean. Beds very comfortable! Great location, would definitely stay again. Decent grab and go breakfast, waffles and coffee, harder with covid but reasonable.

Woman at the desk could have been friendly when we checked in, been driving 14 hours that day and we were exhausted checking in around 11, not even a greeting or eye contact. Maybe she was having a bad day...

The pool and hot breakfast

Staff was not friendly at all. They looked very unhappy. No warm greetings. No smiles on their face. Upon check out the lady did not even open her month. She could have said thanks for staying here, hope you enjoyed your stay. But nope she looked mad. This wouldn’t make me not stay there again. If I ever came back I just wouldn’t ask the staff for any assistance.

Comfortable room. Great breakfast.

The room was said to be disabled/handicap room but it would not have been a good accommodation for wheelchair assisted. ie. Tub. Sink. Toilet. It was doable otherwise.

Our one bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable. The heated pool was great and the location was very convenient.

The room was a bit dated and in need of some renovation.

They had a great breakfast. Often hotels have breakfast that you don’t even stay for. Theirs was good. Room air conditioner worked great.

It’s older but we’ll maintained.
