Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Macon

The facility is in a great location, right off of interstate 75. It is in a quiet setting: area is very clean. Many food choices and shopping available nearby. Check in was great, the young lady who checked us in was friendly and efficient. Facility had adequate parking and well lit; felt very safe there. Hotel and the room itself were very clean. It has a breakfast available, but we were not hungry and did not partake in it. Price was excellent. We normally stay off of 475 but would stay here again.

If I had to say one thing that could be improved was the elevator. The floor was very sticky. Looks like it needed new flooring. But that was minor and did not change my overall feelings about the hotel.

The room and bathroom where clean. It had all we needed.

The guy at the desk was slow and not well trained. The bed was a little soft for us. The breakfast was low on food at 8:30 am. We ate at Waffle House.

Area seemed safe with other hotels and upscale businesses. Close to restaurants, etc. It was set up very well and was very clean. The room was very comfortable and clean. Ours was a handicap room and had a shower stool wide bathroom door for wheelchair access. Lots of breakfast items like cereal, waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits, muffins, bagels, variety of drinks. We will definitely stay here again on our way from Florida to NW Indiana.

Only comment is hot breakfast items were cold at 6:30AM when first opened.

The room was clean (including the bed and the towels), all the essentials were present (towels, soap, shampoo, micro-wave, fridge...). The TV offers a lot of channels. The receptionnist was kind and pleasant, same for the 2 persons who cleaned the room. Well situated. No noise.

The fitness center has to be improved : the treadmill is dangerous as it is old and not in a good state to walk fast or run on it. It need to be changed asap.

The room was large and the bathroom was comfortable also. They had soap, shampoo, and lotion with a hairdryer and ironing board. Safe in room. I heard very little noise and was on the bottom floor.

Loved everything BUT at check-in, they took a photocopy of my driver's license. That procedure will keep me from ever staying at this hotel again. It is absolutely unnecessary to ever take a photocopy of any ID. I had my identity stolen a few years ago by a clerk at a mattress store when I applied/used their 0% credit card and the clerk took a photocopy of my ID, it was years before it was all sorted out.

I like the fact there wasn’t any stray animals nor random strangers walking around. The area seemed safe. The environment was clean, convenient to a few restaurants plus shopping centers. Great location!

I didn’t like how the inside wasn’t as soundproof as I expected, Which disturbed my sleep just a little bit, there wasn’t much noise. The air conditioner didn’t get as cool (using 60degrees) during the midnight as I expected.

The room was very clean! No odors and lingering smells, bathrooms were clean but not perfect. The mattress was comfortable for just a couple hours. Mostly my fault with my back being picky on what I sleep on, eventually I fell asleep on the floor. AC was great, we were able to wash our clothes even! Location was perfect! Right next to a publix!

The room was smaller than expected. Although for 2 people staying the night and possibly a child was perfect. The TV was a little outdated but still functional for the night stay.

The staff were AMAZING! I was having a very rough day from traveling over 12 hours driving from Illinois, and the moment I stepped in very late at night, I was greeted by a very friendly gentleman who helped me with everything I needed and was extremely sincere. He wasn’t fake with his attitude, he was genuinely caring about me and my stay. Then the following morning, the woman who was helping with breakfast and checkout was also very friendly. Great team!

The beds were a little uncomfortable and every time we flushed the toilet, it would make a super high pitched squeal, but it was so late at night we didn’t want to bother anyone.

Clean little room. Good bathroom with shower. Breakfast is really good and coffee ready at 5am what i really appreciated

Can't keep key card near your phone or smartwatch or it get blocked what is really difficult. They say to keep it 2 feet away from each other what is difficult to keep it with you. Other than that everything is great

The beds were so comfortable. The whole motel was spotless. Our room had all the amenities we needed. The staff was superb. We had been traveling all day and were exhausted with a late arrival. We overslept and missed breakfast. I am sure it would have been awesome also. Keep up the good work! You can tell the staff takes pride in where they work and take pride in doing an awesome job.

Maybe a little later time for breakfast but not going to complain. This motel and staff so rocked our stay and was everything we could have wanted. We ate elsewhere before driving again all day.
