Tru By Hilton Macon North, Ga

This hotel is in a beautiful, cozy location. Check in was easy, and the woman who checked is in was very friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds are so cozy. I haven’t been disappointed in Tru by Hiltons rooms.

Everything was great, went down for breakfast before checking out and heard some yelling. Turned around looking for the source of the noise and turns out it was 2 ladies working at the front desk. ARGUING. Not sure what it was about, but one was yelling, “You need to get away from me.” Repeatedly. It was a very heated conversation. I think this should’ve been handled in another way, especially not so early in the morning in front of many guests starting their day.I don’t think this is acceptable, it honestly scared me and my family thought it was going to escalate. This was Saturday, September 9th 2023 around 7-7:30AM. Not sure of the names of the 2 ladies. The one was very friendly with guests thankfully, but sadly not to each other.

Let me start by saying this property and staff is amazing! Upon arrival we where greated by a very friendly Rebecca, she was welcoming and everything was clean and simple. After entering our room we discovered a very clean room. Everything we needed was provided. Beds where comfortable enough. In the morning breakfast was served and a lovely lady Ms.Tracy was keeping everything stocked and greeting good morning. The food was good, and my daughter loved the pancake machine. We chose thus hotel for a half way point of a long drive. Thank you for your kindness we will stay again.

Beds were comfortable. Room was clean, neat, fully functioning, quiet. Breakfast was good. Loved the lobby decor! Shower was nice. Location was good--close to many restaurants.

The heating/AC unit was noisy and the temperature fluctuated too much, causing us to wake up too many times during the night when we were either too hot or too cold. Also would have preferred a bar of soap rather than the squeeze bottle. The squeeze bottle is difficult to squeeze when you have arthritic hands/fingers.

A great hotel for any length of stay. Safe location, easy to find off the interstate. Publix shopping center and restaurants in close proximity to hotel, only a few minutes drive. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. No noise issues at all. Staff were friendly and provided excellent service. My family and I will book future stays at this hotel.

The bed pillows were soft and did not give a lot of support, but other than that no complaints.

The hotel was very nice. The rooms could have a bit more conveniences. There was only two towels for a 4 person room, there was no cups, no coffee maker and it is very weird not to have a closet. It was not exactly clean, there was no shower curtain on our shower, the electric powered window shades were broken and did not open at all. However when we let the front desk know the incredibly nice person named Victor moved us to another room immediately. The staff was beyond kind and helpful although it appeared they were very under staffed they never stopped smiling or offering help. They all deserve a raise and a giant thank you from everyone who works for your company or stays at your hotel. I would absolutely stay at that location again and that has more to do with your staff members than the hotel itself

Not very many conveniences in the room . Need microwave, coffee maker, closet and the automated blinds need to be removed of they are not going to function correctly.

Room was comfortable. Bathroom shower needs more attention to detail. Breakfast was very good - actually impressed with it! We stayed one night on our drive down to Florida and decided to stay again on our drive back. Excellent restaurants in area and nice and quiet. Staff were super friendly which made the difference especially the lady checking us in each evening we stayed.

Shower needs more attention - get into those corners!

I love the modern look of the hotel with the open atmosphere in the lobby. The room was super clean. We stayed her on the way down to our Disney trip as the halfway drive rest spot. We loved it so much that on the spot we booked it for the way back home. The 2 receptionist that we worked with were phenomenal. I have an 8 year old that thinks everyone is her friend and will tal their ears off. Both of them entertained her, stayed interested in the conversation, and joked with her. It really made her day. If there’s one way to get repeat customers it’s by getting their children on board lol. Oh and how could I not mention that snack bar hitting just the right hangry notes after 12 hours of driving, absolutely awesome thought to add that.

I do wish that since the hotel had a modern style that there would have been an android or Apple TV interface so that we could cast s how to the tv.

This is our 2nd time booking with Tru since they opened this location and I honestly don't have any complaints to report. My expectations were either exceeded or met during each stay. We will definitely be staying again during our next visit.

breakfast was excellent, staff fantastic will stay there again, room was great bed was comfortable and enjoyed my stay.

big issue for me there was not a single seat outside for me to sit and enjoy a coffee or a drink, a few small tables and chairs would really be appreciated.

We loved everything about this hotel. The ammenities were great and the staff were very friendly. Check in and out was easy and we even decided to stay another night and that was easy as well.

There was only 1 maintenance issue I saw, their ice machine was malfuctioning and water was leaking from it into buckets they put down to catch the water.
