Ocean Inn & Suites

Great for families with kids. There is a pool with various depths for all ages that us across the street and it over looks the ocean. There is also a pirate play yard next to this park area. It's an easy walk to the peir and Village are where there are Eateries and souvenir shops. East beach is a quick drive with ample parking. We went in June and it wasn't crowded.

Our room had a moldy smell to it that was faint. I noticed the flooring right outside our room had been replaced. So I am thinking there was some kind of issie that wasn't properly repaired.

The staff was soooo very pleasant, friendly, and wonderful! I must give kudos to Joseph in particular. Property was clean, easy to navigate, parking was simple, very laid back atmosphere. It could use a little updating, but the current condition adds to the fun. If you are looking fir sterile ultra modern with bland hues, stay away. This place has character.

I didn't exactly have an ocean view as expected. Perhaps the trees being full occluded what would have been. Still nice view though. Property is a bit dated, but still entirely comfortable and functional

We loved the under hotel parking! When we got to the hotel it was pouring rain. We were so thankful for the parking! The girl at the front desk was super nice when we checked in and was very helpful when asked about places to eat! The room was very large and spacious! The bathroom was very large and spacious as well! The location was great! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted!

It was clean, the staff was friendly. There was a very light breakfast, which we did not have, and they had a coffee machine. The coffee machine made fabulous coffee and lattes.

It is a little dated, but it's okay. The only problem was the door locks. Ours door handle and lock fell off when we were closing the door to leave the room. We were given a new room, but had to swipe the card numerous times for it to open. In their defense, they did say that they were going to be replacing all the room locks.

Downtown area, walking distance to a lot of places

Check in at 4, we got there a little early, I know a room was ready but they said it had to be inspected first. Came back about 3:50, our room hadn’t even been assigned, she gave us room keys, it was still being cleaned. Just tell us we can’t get room til 4. But I think if room available at 2 or 3 just let people in there room.

We loved everything about our stay!!!!! All but the swimming pool was down cause they were waiting on the health inspector to come and okay it. But if your a parent you know how our little ones like the pool. Other than that everything was very clean,staff was SUPER NICE & FRIENDLY and willing to accommodate your stay to the best of their ability!! I would definitely stay again at the Ocean Inn&Suites♥️

The pool being out due to waiting on health inspector it wasn't only this pool. They're were several motels and other places ALL waiting to get inspected.

Lovely hotel . Great location .. one street back from the waterfront and pier and view of the lighthouse. Room was large, bed very comfortable. Great coffee in the lobby!

I was surprised that for a hotel that declares itself a luxury hotel there is no maid service .. had to make the bed myself every day, trash was not emptied and floors were never cleaned from beach sand .. not what I am accustomed to .. but, not a deal breaker!

Amazing staff! Friendly, helpful, knows the island well and has great suggestions. All towels were nice, thick & plush. Bed linens and mattress was amazingly comfortable. Could not have been better.

There was absolutely nothing we did not like. Parking spaces in the covered parking area were a little tight but being courteous and careful made it work.

We love everything about the hotel. Beds were comfy, the coffee was great and the customer service by the entire staff was absolutely wonderful. We went to St. Simons on a girls trip and I can't say enough about the place. Location and all was perfect. We will definitely stay there again.

There is nothing bad yo say about the place

Loved our room located on the third floor with a balcony looking out at the lighthouse. We enjoyed seeing it at different times of the day, and at night with the lights going. The room was very comfortable and clean. Staff was very amiable.

The only thing missing was there weren't any coffee machines in the room. You had to go to the lobby for your coffee.
