We really like the location, the pool is awesome, as well as the room was very nice and comfortable! We had some issues with the staff, but were able to speak to the new manager, Sherry and she was awesome and assured us that things were being handled!I want to give a shout out for Kristy(Bubbles) for doing such a wonderful job with preparing breakfast and keeping everything clean!! Also to the new maintenance guy, whom you could tell he cared!! Also Stephanie at the front desk for her kindness and help! We will definitely be making this hotel our “go to” when we visit SSI!

Any issues we had were being resolved!

This hotel is in a very convenient location and the front desk staff was very nice and welcoming!! The room was clean, a little worn, and surprised there was a fridge, but no microwave (to heat up leftovers, rewarm coffee etc). The bed was very comfortable. I would suggest they make the #'s on the room doors a little bigger, even with a little map they give you @ check-in, you can't read any room #'s unless you physically walk up to the door. All in all though, I would stay here again Booking.com gave me a good rare .

No microwave, fridge is nice , but often on vacation, you have restaurant left overs or brought your own food to save $.

The property location and surroundings are very pretty and safe. The pool area and common area for guests outside is super pretty and was decently clean (guests kept leaving things behind though). They also had a nice breakfast every morning until 10am with quite a few options. Stephani at the front desk was amazing! So sweet and helpful. She accommodated our request’s immediately and was very knowledgeable. Great customer service. The beds were really comfortable but I hate hotel pillows so I definitely should have brought my own. This hotel is really close to everything and in a minimal traffic area.

The rooms are small. There’s barn doors for the bathroom but they don’t lock or really stay shut very well. The property has 1 elevator outside that’s pretty small and it is not wheelchair accessible anywhere (FYI). There is no indoor elevator. The carpet around the elevator needs to be clean badly but again, it’s outside so that’s common to happen. Outside of those couple of things, it’s great. Just older and needs better updating.

I visited in the winter so I liked coming back from the beach and going in the outdoor hot tub each evening. The outdoor area is a nice setup for relaxing and in a quiet area while still being central to everything on the island. The pet fee was reasonable and they have a outdoor pet area. I was able to do my laundry at the hotel nextdoor because it's the same owners. There was always someone at the front desk that was friendly and helpful. All the staff I interacted with were welcoming. Everything about the room was great - bed, furniture, bathroom - they were all clean and comfortable. They offer the standard breakfast of scrambled eggs and a meat, waffles, yogurt, cereal, muffins. I liked that coffee and tea and hot chocolate was available 24/7.

They could include a list of channels for the TV in the room because I couldn't find the guide. A heated pool for the winter would make it even better. They could use a better coffee brand because I found theirs not strong enough. Also I was looking for herbal tea but all the teas were caffeinated.

We came in late at night and were met with a warm welcome from the front desk staff. Beds were comfortable and there was a good amount of channels to pick from on the TV. We had a great view of the pool and we did not hear our neighbors next to us at all. The free breakfast was basic but a solid option.

Room service did not come to clean the room, but in their defense they tried to come while we were getting ready for the day. We asked them to return in 20 minutes but they didn’t. The faucet in the shower was not caulked properly and was coming off the wall when we would open and close the lever to turn the tub/shower combo on/off. The rooms are small but you get what you pay for.

I liked the pool especially. Breakfast was very good. scrambled eggs and crispy bacon one day, plus a delicious waffle I made myself. Also had yogurt one morning and they have "crunchies and dried cranberries you can add to the yogurt. Good coffee. Loved having a Keurig in the room, the coffee was very good. Staff service was excellent. The young lady who fixes the breakfast every day is excellent, and helpful.

We were greatly impressed by the wonderful friendly staff and the general welcome feeling of the hotel. We had a medical emergency, and the response and caring assistance we received were top notch - such a blessing! We are grateful to everyone who came to our aid and showed extra consideration to our party after returning from the hospital ER. As for the hotel itself, its setting in Plantation Village was just beautiful and peaceful. St. Simons Island is well worth the detour off I-95! Our rooms were immaculate and despite the temperature, we were able to make use of the hot tub, which was a welcome relief for weary travelers. The breakfast room was on another level as far as style, comfort and ease of use. It was a little haven on our road trip and we'll definitely be back!

Can't think of a thing!

A fabulous quick trip to the Golden Isles...we enjoyed our stay. Loved our handicap room. It was very comfortable. Breakfast was awesome, but more awesome was the Amazing Lady running the kitchen and serving us. Her name was Kristie, but she was nicknamed Bubbles which describes her perfectly. This is our second stay here, and we will continue to book here in the future.

Only complaint was our coffeemaker in the room did not work. And I tried everything to make it work.

The room was clean and comfortable. We checked in on the night of March 17th. The girl at the desk was fabulous. She was knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfast was good.

No Wi-Fi the whole stay. Went down to the office to ask about Wi-Fi. No one was at the desk. Found two girls sitting in the office; one was asleep and the other on her phone. I ask about the Wi-Fi. We were told they didn’t know anything. They said that sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn’t. They made it seem that we were bothering them.

The beds were comfortable, the room was nice and clean, air con wasn't too noisy, and there was a nice seating area outside to enjoy the weather. Free breakfast is always nice. Free flowing coffee in foyer. Lovely pool!

Nowhere to sit outside my room and enjoy the views and weather; the only seating area was outside breakfast room on other side of building. Breakfast was fairly basic, and only disposable plates and cutlery etc provided. Maybe this is a covid measure but it's not particularly enjoyable to eat off, and feels wasteful.
