Hampton Inn St. Simons Island

We stayed here years ago and the hotel was better than it was. Breakfast was very good but there was not any packs of Mayo to make my breakfast sandwich. Other than that there was a very good selection of food. The location on the island was fine since we were not going to the beach. The mirrors in the room were very helpful in getting dressed. I really appreciated the ottoman that could be rolled around.

The receptionist was a little short answering my questions like I had interrupted her but that wasn’t a big problem. She did fail to tell me there was a $15 incidental fee added to the total and that it would be refunded so I had to make a trip to the desk and ask why was there a difference in my room total and my credit card charge. I expect the refund to show up soon per her explanation.

Breakfast was adequate.... Deck clerk was in a vehicle of a friend outside the front door when I arrived. I got the impression she was in that car smoking pot. The driver appeared to be a guy.

Location good for my need. I was not going to the beach. Hotel was clean, Lobby furniture was OK for breakfast but not comfortable otherwise.

It was a wonderful experience

The last night we were there the pool closed early unexpectedly. Normally, the pool was open to 10pm and we went out just before 9pm and it was closed and a staff member. Just said pool is closed and turned her back and walked away, no apology and no explanation. However, I understand things happen. That was just disappointing though as we visited for my daughter's 16th birthday and she didn't get to swim on her last night there. Other than that it was all wonderful.

It was clean for the most part and the breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly.

I was told over the phone that they rarely have pets in the rooms, maybe a few small pets. Never seen in the kitchen area. We had some pet hair on our socks and there was a small dog in the kitchen area. I would still go there because it seems most hotels allow pets and aren't leaving rooms pet free for those of us with allergies.

it was very clean and the staff were very courteous and helpful. Great breakfast with a variety of items both hot and cold. Coffee available all day, so before heading out we could fill our travel cups. Located across the street from a shopping mall with a grocery store and several restaurants. Also had a Starbucks and a McDonalds very nearby. Short trip to a very nice downtown area and the beach.

The pillows were too soft

The hotel was nice but the staff was exceptional! The ladies that made the wonderful breakfast were very nice and helpful. The day we checked out our Jeep wouldn't start and the hotel maintenance man Randy not only jump started it for us but tested the alternator and battery to see what the problem was! He went way beyond the call of duty! Will certainly stay here again!

It was a little pricey.

Simple but good Breakfast. Very nice people operating the breakfast area. Calm environment, EV chargers (4 Tesla + 2 Standard), clean hotel. St Simons beach is 5 min away by car and it's beautiful in the morning.

Tesla chargers were broken in the evening, but got fixed first thing in the morning 👏. I was able to charge om the standard charger with the adapter.

The facility is in the middle of everything you need. The staff was great. The rooms were very neat and clean. I recommend this location.

We visited this location on New Year's. As expected, we had some people in the room next to us who partied until about 6 am. We didn't sleep well that night, but it's not the facility fault.

The rooms were great. The pool area was our favorite.

My door card stopped working the gentleman behind the desk was kinda a rude about it. He was the afternoon clerk. He stated the only way the card would have stopped working if I had double booking i did not

Fantastic Breakfast Yummie 😋 Make your own waffle, lots of toppings to choose from 💗 Every day , different choice of Eggs.... Or meat . You can choose your bread , if you don't want waffles. Oatmeal or Cereal. Friendly Kind People 😁 Plenty to choose from 😁
