The breakfast was incredible! The room (Elizabeth room) was lovely and the bed (king size) was surprisingly comfortable, and I am picky because I have back pain. The house is beautiful, especially the breakfast nook and sitting room. They had lots of thoughtful touches like homemade cookies and bottled water in the room, and additional snacks and drinks in the common areas. So many wonderful details! A wonderful getaway for our anniversary!

I liked everything. If you are a fan of antiques and vintage furniture and decor. It's situated in a nice area. The setting was nice. You have so much available. Coffee, different varieties of teas. Popcorn, ice machine and microwave downstairs. Outside your room is a refrigerator with drinks and crackers as a courtesy. The room was comfortable and quaint. The TV was behind a door and the bathroom was cleverly hidden behind a wall that looked like a bookcase. There were two candies on a plate on the bed and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies along with two bottles of water. Dan who was the host, greeted us at the front door and was very friendly. They are great hosts. Made sure they remembered our names and prepared breakfast accordingly to our liking. If you never experienced a bed and breakfast, make this your first. You will enjoy the stay and experience.

It was a little cold in the room but that was the only negative.

Stayed at the Bethany room and was pleasantly surprised at its spaciousness. Bed was comfortable; loved the fresh bed linens and towels. The house was beautiful and the town very pretty. Refreshments were free and available anytime. Breakfast was excellent. Owners served gourmet breakfast and it was fresh, hot and straight out of the oven. Delicious.

Spent one night here to take a break from a long road trip. Learned that Taccoa Falls was just a mile from house inside a college campus. Unfortunately, due to covid it was temporarily closed to visitors.

A beautiful warm an clean historical house.I would highly recommend this property it’s a “A+”grade.The keepers are just as wonderful as the property. The Breakfast is absolutely amazing also,overall a wonderful stay for me…I will return.

Efficient reception! Spectacular gourmet breakfast! Snacks were readily available and included- no vending machines! Quiet neighborhood ! comfortable bed and no shortage of hot water in the shower!

The multi-course breakfast was outstanding. Every course was different and cooked fresh. I didn’t want to eat breakfast anywhere else.

Great place to stay! Host’s were very nice and polite. Breakfast every morning was amazing.

Room was clean and comfortable. We understand the house is old but felt it could use a little more attention to squeaking floor, walls and ceiling.

very unique inside

this is an old house. however, everything worked perfectly and we were cozy and comfortable, even in February. the food could not have been better!

The fact that it was built and owned by a furniture maker was super interesting. The house was decorated splendidly depicting an era before our time. Breakfast was beyond good.
