We stayed in the attached unit with one queen bed. We got in late, but the manager was very accommodating. The bed was super comfy, and the room was spacious and clean. The furniture was beautiful, sturdy, and purposeful. We loved how the beach was only a minute walk away, which was a great place to go for a dip at the end of a hot day. Make friends with your neighbors as you are in close proximity to each other and share the kitchen and laundry facilities. There are no beach views, but the location is great, and it's easy to navigate your way around, and it's not far from the airport. We'll definitely be back again.

Location was great! It was private. I had two small yorkies who don’t shed with me. They had to sleep in the stroller because they were allowed on the bed with me. They had to travel with me (ESA animals) because my husband (who can’t walk) left ahead of me to the mainland as we were in the process of moving from big island to Arizona. It was difficult for all of us during this time. I understand why they would keep this rule at the cottage, but my fur babies were stressed enough and this rule made it worse for them. The management was neither seen nor heard. However, they did ok a late check out. We communicated by text and that part wasn’t personable at all. I wanted to pay for an extra day just to stay a few more hours only and got no response. Lack of communication made me uncomfortable.

Facility: The room was clean. The kitchen facility was good, and a bonus it was in our unit block (didn't have to go outside to use it). Location: Easy bus ride to town and back, beautiful rock beaches at a short walk from end of street, rustic countryside. Staff: Friendly, helpful, and informative. Staff were great.

Something that couldn't be helped... stupid little noisy 🐸

Excellent communication from the management. The door code was texted to me prior to our arrival. It’s located minutes from Hilo harbor, in a safe suburban neighborhood. Our cottage had a large bathroom & shower, a small table & 2 chairs, kitchen (though we didn’t cook), an outside deck, a queen bed & 2 twin beds. We enjoyed the large space.

Needed to open a window and turn on the a/c to get the air circulating upon arrival. It was a bit stale.

Josh was very welcoming & helpful, he suggested several areas to visit. Even though it’s close to the airport, it’s not very busy so no worries about noise from there. Comfortable beds and spacious bathroom! The shared kitchen was easy to use and we found what we needed to prepare our meals & lunches to go!

The location was great and close to several beaches. It was really nice to wake up and go to a hidden beach for morning swimming. You have shared kitchen with all essential stuff, washing machine, dry machine, parking place.

The shower in the bathroom was not isolated, and after showering the bathroom is wet. So you should careful to walk there.

Great location, great accommodation, great staff.

The only thing would be maybe add a little more storage in the rooms. Wouldn't usually worry us but we were here for almost 3 weeks and would have been helpful. Other then that, everything was great.

The room had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we liked the screen door at the back with the deck. If we come back to the island we would love to stay here again.

Our neighbours were quiet and respectful. Nice neighbour hood. It was perfect for us!

It's was located near everything. It had a full kitchen and a laundry room It's a good place to stay for the price. Would definitely book again

We enjoyed the location, and the setting. The cottage was charming.

We felt there should have been grab bars in the bathroom since the whole area was tiled and had an open shower. The floor was very slippery after a shower.
