Outdated hotel - room safe broken - towel holder broken - Renovation needed - Staff friendly but no of great help. (noted requests but ignored to act) - Noise from nearby harbor when loading/unloading ships

Clean room, good coffee in the morning, nice toiletries. Hotel grounds are lovely with a beach.

Didn't like the surprise "facility" charge. I think it was about $30 per night.

we liked the proximity to the beach and airport. their outside area is also very nice with games, fire pits and cool round giant chairs.

we didn’t like that the keycards often didn’t work or took many tries. we had to go back to the front desk a few times and saw other guests doing the same thing. the front desk person also told us with the storm the road to Hana would likely close, got us all worried, but then when we talked to a couple other locals they laughed at this and reassured us that the road to Hana only closed extremely rarely. it was totally fine for us. other staff was great.

If they had more (and friendlier) staff, it would help a LOT (our party was kept waiting for hours as none of the rooms were ready; at check-in time, there were only two people on duty and they were unfriendly; the night guard is grumpy and mean)

The property is next to the beach and is undergoing some construction due to a new Hampton hotel being built next door. The hotel has a quaint feel to it. It’s next to the beach and provides a fire pit and rocking chairs to sit outside and enjoy the view.

I enjoyed the clean room, I enjoyed the cute balcony, I also liked how they provided a laundry room to clean your clothes. I'm also satisfied that the hotel provides a shuttle bus to and from the airport.I also love the fact that they had a mall across the street, along with easy access busses for only $2 a ride. I took the #20 bus to Lahaina Beach it was nice.

I did not like the fact that a continental breakfast was not available and that the only option in the hotel was the expensive buffet. On the 2nd floor. Luckily there was another hotel next door that was serving breakfast/ lunch and dinner.

Overall experience was positive. The view was espectacular. Free Shuttle to and from airport, they can take you 3 miles around the hotel ( cortesy) . Close to a mall, close places to eat. Very convenient :inside restaurant for breakfast, ( reasonable price, loved the hawaiian coffee (free refill) Real orange juice. They have a post of Hertz rental car( very convenient) Pool ok. Room was nice size, spotless. Amenities as described. A little old hotel, but excellent maintenance. Spectacular views ..definitely we are coming back..already posted my pict and..our friends want to come too. Making plans to come back, soon.

The grounds and gardens were neatly kept, all the staff were friendly and very obliging. We were surprised to find we needed to request our room to be serviced which wasn’t mentioned when checking in. The restaurant left a lot to be desired. Very limited choice for the breakfast buffet and when we went to the restaurant to have dinner at opening time no one was there despite the door being open so we ended up going next door to Tante’s at Maui Seaside hotel and had a lovely meal. A big plus was the free airport shuttle. A great recommendation from a staff member for Marco’s restaurant a short drive away.

The location was great! Close to public transit as well as local beaches.

The bathrooms need updating and could be a little better maintained. They were clean and all the toiletries and towels were perfect, but there was mold in crevices.
