We were out & about all day so the size of the rooms was not discouraging for us. I also like how central the inn was to the town, the private beach access was phenomenal & being able to walk downstairs for a cocktail was a nice bonus.

The room was a bit noisy when the bar was occupied & I assume the noise will increase when the restaurant fully reopens. We woke up the first morning at 6 am to go get coffee & watch the sunrise but couldn’t figure out how to exit the inn. We ended up going out the back door & climbing over some bushes in the restaurant. This should be better communicated to guests. The water was either extremely hot or extremely cool - it was hard to get a consistent temperature. There were small ants in our bathroom.

The inn is located on the Main Street of Paia among the shops and restaurants- very walkable. The beach is beautiful- gorgeous sunsets. They have beach chairs hanging from the fence for you to take down to the beach. Check in was easy and the room was clean and comfortable. Also this town is very convenient to the airport. Would definitely come back again to stay, hopefully more than one night.

The parking is pretty tight - we did have a place to park though. The room was called a “town view” room - standing on the bed to look out the window I could only see rooftops. The real view was at the beach which more than made up for the lack of view in the room.

Paia Inn was the perfect first night for us on Maui. Lucy was so welcoming, showing us to our room and explaining all the amenities that the inn provided. The kombucha was a nice treat for us too! There was live music from the restaurant at the back of the inn, and a lovely private walkway that was lit by string lights that led to a fire pit above the beach. The room was cozy, and charming, and the comfy bed was just what we needed after traveling 13 hours from Chicago. It was just perfection! Thank you❤️

Friendly, helpful and warm staff. Lots of character. Very clean, and simple decor and comfortable. Beach access, and surrounded by lovely shops and lots of local food options. we wished we could have stayed longer.

very hard to find something we didn’t like! The restaurant wasn’t serving breakfast and for us it would have been more convenient if it did. The room was lovely but could do with a little more natural light.

Rooms are not that big, but it was lovingly furnished and staff was super friendly. Access to the beach was awesome and a nice place to relax and drink some beers. if you are lucky you will find some cute surprises laying at the beach. Leaving Paia Inn and this lovely place made us really sad. For us first choice once we will be back. Why Paia? It is not Lahaina, but super central for whole Maui. You reach every place in relatively short time.

Price was upper class, compared to other hotels.

No breakfast but you could walk up the street, good location for trips to Hana and things to do in that part of the Island. They have great private grassy lounging area down at the beach, worth the resort fee for sure.

We did book a garden view room but were charged for town view room, they said all the rooms were called town view but ours had no town view so we could not figure that out.

Paia Inn has such a great location if you are planning on driving the Road to Hana! It is also next to some shops, coffee shops and an incredible Pizza restaurant called The Flatbread Company which was recommended by the staff as well as a friends. The walk to the beach is short and the beach views are incredible. I didn't get to take much advantage of the sunchairs/beach chairs/beach towels, but would definitely love having more time to relax around Paia while staying here. The hotel feels quaint and is well maintained, and I enjoyed having guest room access through the gate/restaurant in the back in addition to the lobby. The restaurant is a little loud through the windows into the room in the back, but closes at 10:00 so the noise was never an issue for me.

I arrived a little late one night as was disappointed to find out the hotel restaurant stops serving food well before they close. Don't miss out like I did!

It is sooooo pretty, so much better than your standard hotel. The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and easy to communicate with, and the location is amazing. The room was clean and spacious, and designed nicely as well. I would definitely stay again

The water did not get hot, but it was okay. The prices can be very high if you’re not booking last minute

Lucia at the front desk was beyond professional, she made my booking and stay stress free. The entire property is 5 star. The sushi at the restaurant is the best on the island. I especially enjoyed sleeping on the back patio bed. I hope to return for another beautiful stay at Paia Inn. Thank you John Angelini

Nothing I could see

The rooms are clean and I appreciated all of the amenities (espresso in the room, beach equipment for use). The rooms are clean and comfy beds.

Each room is unique so some of that rooms are super close to the ocean. It would have been nice to know which room I was booking vs just the type. The easiest entrance through the room was through the restaurant which wasn’t accessible when the restaurant was open which was a bit inconvenient.
