The property is beautiful. There were shops close by we could walk to and a nice walking path along the water. Friendly staff. Market was good and the beach restaurant. Free shuttle takes you to near-by shopping and restaurants.

The room had an odd set up. It needs a wall between the bathroom and bedroom as the light wakes everyone up if someone gets up to shower earlier (there are blinds). They need more pool chairs! They have a bunch of chairs under canopies they charge extra for but these were frequently empty but everyone is fighting for a regular chair (literally).

It was such a beautiful property! The open-air lobby was so nice. We actually fell asleep on one of the couches waiting for our room (We got there early). The smells at this property just put you on island time immediately. We had a wonderful time at the luau. We decided to do it the day we arrived because we were already so comfortable! There was direct access to the beach, the food was amazing, and the staff was so helpful! We had all these plans to explore, but we were so comfortable at the resort that we didn't do quite as much as we had planned. We actually had a red-eye to catch on the last day, and we could only get a 12:00 PM Check out. The staff offered to keep our luggage for us, let us hang out at the resort, and let us know about the shower room on site so that we could have a shower before our flight. I would stay here every time!

Nothing really. It would be nice to have dual sinks and a bidet. But the good more than made up for these shortcomings.

It’s a beautiful resort, the pool area is great. We went in off peak season so was able to get a spot to sit by the pool each time. They have resort activities like yoga or paddle boarding (for free)! The food on-site is of great quality too. Staff are super attentive and helpful. Fairly convenient to get around and they have a complimentary car service for drops offs near by.

The rooms are small for what you pay and doesn’t match the quality of the rest of the resort.

The architecture of the hotel is beautiful and modern. Loved the open air concept. The series of stacked pools (I think like 5-6) are beautiful and the landscaping wonderful. The food at the bar (pork belly and fries) was really some of the best hotel food we have ever eaten. The beach is lovely, has a private feeling, and had great snorkeling and fun to walk along (going south you can get to the Wailea Mall). There is less commercialization here than in Ka'anapali so felt like I had the whole place to myself. (The sea scooters meet in Wailea-very easy and lots of fun). There are some coffee places and eateries in Wailea but mostly restaurants are based in the resorts and very expensive and not as good as local fare. Sorry, the Morimoto's at the Andaz was overpriced and not amazing. Same for Ko at the Fairmont. We had amazing ethnic food outside of area in Kihei (Izakaya Gembe -most amazing pork belly, tempura, sashimi, udon, gyoza, grilled fish- eat everything here!!; Cafe Moon- fusion Korean (lovely Kim bap), and Vietnamese Cuisine (amazing red curry, pad Thai and spring rolls).

The room was surprisingly not that nice but we had 4 people in one room (two queen size beds). We did not spend any time in room though except to sleep.

This is the best hotel in Hawaii I have stayed at so far. Not only was the location amazing, with access to a large private beach, pools and expansive poolside decks, we could access all this directly from our room’s balcony. Also had free laundry available, lots of activities like music/luaus at night, hula & ukulele lessons, photography sessions, and just so many perks included. We used the valet parking which was $45 per day, but the staff were so quick and responsive and also gave us lots of advice on where to go. If you don’t have a car, it might be a little hard to access. All the staff were amazing, friendly, and really helpful. My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and can’t recommend it enough.

Very small thing, but the access to the lights were next to the front door, which was a little inconvenient at night when we wanted to turn off the lights from the bed.

I didn't swim in the pool as it was too cold, but I went to another pool later in my stay and it was delightful. Breakfast was awesome as was every meal that we had in the restaurants.

Room size, but that was our choice, so I don't think really much could have been better.

Pools, beach and breakfast all very nice. Staff was excellent!

The rooms were quite small and same with the bathroom. We had read this in similar reviews before we left. We did not spend much time in the room but for two people and luggage for a week they were on the small side.

Our floor in the room looked like it had some dried up substance in a red color we would have though that housekeeping would have said something to maintenance .. we thought it was blood at first ..
