The breakfast was delicious. The people were so kind. The view was exceptional. Would love to stay again.

Would have been nice to know if you could hike around the hills around there, but did not know if it was allowed or not. I think it would be absolutely amazing if there was access to ATV (4 wheeler, side by side) rental to explore. Would be an absolute pleasure to have had that kind of option. But in all honesty, there really was not anything to dislike.

John Clark and family have created a truly unique lodging g experience. Situated 9n s beautiful property, you can take in a beautiful sunset from the balcony. Lions Gate is a short drive to the center of Lava Hot Springs where there are plenty of shops, eateries and fun family activities. The fresh breakfast was a treat to have available on you own schedule.

There wasn't a thing wrong!

Breakfast was awesome. The view was pretty and we enjoyed seeing deer roaming on the property.

My husband said that on his side of the bed which was the edge of the bed furtherest from the bathroom, felt like he was going to roll out. (The edge dipped and was very soft in the middle.) so that wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the top step leading to the jacuzzi tub hadn’t been wiped down because it was sticky from something that had previously spilled and dried there. (I wiped it off 😉).

Absolutely EVERYTHING - 10 out of 10! Location, scenic views, luxurious room, staff, food... The setting is beautiful, surrounded by breath-taking scenery and wildlife. The Roman Tub room was an oasis, with a sunken whirlpool tub/spa, comfortable bed/bedding, and direct access to the expansive deck from the room. The staff (Tammy) was so welcoming - friendly, gracious, helpful, generous - doing everything she could to make our stay the best possible. The breakfast she prepared was perfect - homemade French toast bake with whipped cream, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, bacon and sausage links. Coffee and iced water was available in the room, with a never ending pot of coffee in the morning. I can't wait to stay in another one of their luxury rooms!

That I only booked one night! I should have reserved another night to enjoy everything it offers. There isn't one thing we didn't like...

We stayed in the Romeo and Juliette room. The location was perfect! As soon as we arrived to the property it was beautiful scenery all around with wildlife roaming freely. It was a nice quiet location. The room was a nice sized room it wasn't overly crowded with furniture and the bed was so comfy! The breakfast though I have to say way better than any place in town had to offer! It was made in house nice fresh and hot! We loved it all!

I would have to say though the only negative was the fact we were in the bedroom right next to one of the owners... The hunny and I were celebrating our anniversary so it did make things slightly awkward. But over all we will be returning when we get a chance to try a new themed room!

The themed room we were in was awesome. The sheets were really comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and large shower in our room. We enjoyed our stay at the Lions Gate Manor.

We were a little disappointed in the breakfast, but this is partly our fault. We are diet restricted and should have made this known prior to our stay.

I was so surprised by the complete breakfast, sausage, bacon, waffles and yogurt with fruit. What a treat! This Bed and Breakfast has a great view of the valley, and a great deck to enjoy it from. We sat out there in the evening and enjoyed the stars and had our breakfast out there too. Super nice staff.

I would not change a thing. It felt like we were visiting relatives, they made us feel very welcome

The breakfast was phenomenal, not only did it taste wonderful it looked as good as it tasted. It matched the beauty of the house. If you want a quiet get away with your love this is worth every penny!

Only downside is it’s a very long walk if you want to go to the swimming pools or mineral springs. It is a very short drive. The town is very fun to explore.

I came with no expectations of what the room would be like and was I totally pleased. The ambience was an absolute treasure. It quickly became apparent that this room was going to be a lot of fun-----and it was!!!! We spent a short time being nosy and looked in on the other rooms and found their compositions to be just as exciting especially the basement (The Phantom Room). Breakfast was very, very good with the hostess friendly and generous with the servings. THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!

to difficult getting in and out of the jet tub, especially getting out when your wet and the tiles are slippery.

Staff and breakfast was great.

My wife and I both thought it would be great to have a smart TV or some way for us to log into our Netflix account so we could watch better commercial free movies together, not the movies that were available on cable that were already half way over.
