La Quinta by Wyndham Pocatello

Jessie at the front desk was fantastic. We came in late, and there were several people checking in. Turns out some kind of basketball tournament was in town, so lots of people were checking in all at once. She was friendly, efficient, clear, and concise. She put everyone through very quickly with a smile. The room was clean and large, and the shower was fantastic! I also loved the flavored creamers they have for coffee. Love that so much. I also appreciated that the pool was open 24 hrs, even though we didn't use it. If I'm traveling through Pocatello again, will definitely book here again.

After staying in a horribly dirty, grungy, broken-down hotel in Montana, we stayed here on our way back home and it was LOVELY. So clean. Towels were clean and stocked, bathroom was clean. Beds were soft and cozy, AC worked, elevator worked. Breakfast was okay, and staff was very nice. It was honestly great.

Breakfast could use some TLC. Also just a suggestion for the hotel to put non-slip tile or some sort of anti-skid floor covering in the pool—-even when dry I had trouble not slipping. And maybe put a large rug just outside the pool-access door into the hallway—the water tracked out makes it terribly slippery.

Enjoyed my stay at La Quinta. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was above the norm.

We were woken up at 3am by the fire alarm and found out that an off-duty employee was using the pool with friends and someone set off the alarm. I can see that happening by an ill-mannered guest, but not an employee (who is responsible for the family or friends he/she brings). I think employee pool usage should be changed. Since we were leaving for home at 5am, we did not go back to bed, and left. The employee on duty at the time was very apologetic.

The breakfast was delicious! They even had flavored waffles! It was very busy when we were there but the food was quickly refilled nice fresh and hot. The pool and spa were huge and have 24 hour access which we loved! Our room the king suite two bedroom was perfect! The fire place was a surprise and each kid had a pull out bed which was great! Our favorite La Quinta so far! But what amazed us even more was the staff. They were so helpful and efficient. Especially Jessi! One night it was particularly busy a bunch of us like 6 different groups all either had questions or needed to check in. She was kind, welcomed each group, got everyone taken care of. She was professional, efficient, polite and hospitable. I was so impressed.

Dog friendly. The room was big enough for 4 people and 2 dogs. Happy that the front desk was able to accommodate our request to get a first floor room due to traveling with dogs. Room was clean. Toilet was clean. Dogs loved laying on the tile area.

The front desk staff (1 person) was busy troubleshooting the booking issue for the guests ahead of me. Since he was the only staff, the line built up pretty fast- Nevertheless, he was polite, nice and helpful to guests. Needs bigger trash bins in the room.

The front desk staff was extremely friendly. The hotel was very clean and our son loved the pool. We were only there for a short time but it was a very pleasant stay.

The breakfast situation wasn't great. We got down there about 20 minutes before breakfast ended and the only choices were waffles and toast. The area was pretty messy as well. I walked back into the breakfast area right around 9:00 just to get some syrup and the woman who was closing the area was pretty rude.

The room was extremely clean and smelled fresh. Our bed was comfortable. The grounds are well lit and inviting- safe feeling walking into the hotel.The staff was very friendly and everyone seemed happy and pleasant. The pool was well maintained and very nice! Breakfast is offered later on the weekends which was appreciated so we could sleep in. We enjoyed the waffles and fruit. It was nice having a mini fridge in the room. The price of the room was a great value!

Clean - great beds

what is posted everywhere that breakfast served until 10 o’clock and we went down at 9:15. They had already close the breakfast so we didn’t get breakfast with our stay. We even had a note with our Key stating the breakfast would run until 10 o’clock. That in my opinion, it is an absolute BS we booked it so we would be able to have breakfast before we got on the road and then we ended up having to go out and spend another $50. We couldn’t even get coffee - doors were shut.

2-bedroom family suite was excellent. Fridge and microwave came in handy. A/C worked great. TVs worked in every room. Ironing board, iron, blow dryer in room. Lots of table, drawer, closet space. Separate toilet/shower room separate from sink/vanity area. Lots of couches for relaxing in front of nice fireplace (even though not used over Labor Day weekend).Good coffee in room and excellent breakfast. Relatively quiet area. Great restaurant next door. The Sandpiper. 10% off with room key. Pet friendly, but you have to dine on patio. Some flies and a bee was only downside. But still worth it.

Kids in room above me were running back and forth in room and jumping from furniture. I called their room and informed the mother I was trying to sleep and her kids were keeping us awake. Very annoying, but she thanked me for letting her know. It soon got quiet. Other than that, nothing was bad. Parking a little tight.

My second stay at this motel, I like the easy access from the interstate and it is a quiet/safe area. With restaurants and stores close by.

Didn't like the additional and unexpected pet fees. I chose La Quinta because it is and always has been pet friendly. Despite my contacting the motel directly I was NOT told they are now charging additional pet fees. This makes La Quinta too expensive for the level of motel (family). I would have made a reservation elsewhere had I known of the added charges😡
