The staff always go above and beyond. Check-in begins at 3 pm, but after driving 18 hours straight with 2 children and a new born, we arrived a little after 1230pm. They were really busy with a traveling baseball team checking out that day and another checking in that same day. Instead of turning us away because we were early and they were extremely busy, they took the time to work some magic and got us checked in. We found My Place hotel for the first time while traveling across country last year in Amarillo. Because of that first stay and the last 2 stays in North Aurora, we will only stay at My Place hotels if they are in the area we are traveling.

The rooms are very well equipped with a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, and two-burner stove which makes meal prep a snap, if you're so inclined. The beds are comfortable and, as an extra bonus, queen rooms include a comfortable recliner. A small convenience store has snacks and beverages, as well as some food items and toiletries.

A minor thing: the bathtub and kitchen drains need to be introduced to Drano; both are VERY slow.

Spacious room, comfortable beds, clean, cute decor, quiet. Convenient location. Plenty of fluffy towels. Great shower with taller shower head. Breakfast is available for an extra fee. We pre-planned to eat breakfast at a local restaurant, so didn’t need/want breakfast included in the cost.

The kitchenette wasn’t equipped with any utensils, plates, etc., which didn’t impact us this visit but if we return and need the kitchenette for cooking we’ll know to bring what we need. The coffeemaker and coffee pack didn’t work right together.

Location is sweet. In a nice quiet neighborhood, enough parking. 45 min drive to Chicago downtown. Enough public transportation park and ride within 20 minutes. There was a bath. Laundry room in hotel was absolutely amazing.

Kitchen did not have any cutlery. But if you know that and accept it, go to Walmart or Target and get some cheap stuff. Cleaning frequency was not like a hotel, but that may be caused by Corona (staff shortage). So would try this next time for sure again.

Was pleasantly surprised as I had not heard of the My Place brand prior to this visit. Was expecting a standard, no-frills, ho-hum hotel room. Staff was very pleasant, room was nice. Basically all I did was check-in, sleep & shower, then check out but I'd definitely stay here again if I return to the area.

Very clean, very comfortable. Bed and linens were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was great! There was an elevator broken, being repaired, staff was doing everything they could to keep guests on the ground floor. Walking distance to several establishments for dining or drink. It seemed very quiet. Parking lot was clean and well lit.

The room smelled must, the AC should have been tuned on before we arrived, also I sent hotel an email we wanted to be on the top floor, the girl working saidshe saw it but did not have any of those rooms cleaned. We stayed on floor 2 and it was quiet but if it was noisy above us I would have been more upset aboutthe hotel ignoring my request

Great location, rooms where clean and comfortable, facility was very nice and clean as well. Matt the Manger was super nice and friendly, the rest of the personal was kinds as well.

Bit of a mix up when I checked out between the hotel and Bookings.com. The hotel was trying to charge me as well, but Matt took care of things.

No silverware, no plates and no dishes in the room kitchenette - no one travel with this stuff. It should be available in the room.

Beds were not very comfortable, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay!! I am coming back next week and tried to book with them again, but sadly there was no availability :(
