Hampton Inn Champaign Southwest

2nd stay. Hotel looks and feels new. Had a Huge disable room, so easy-to-use the walk-in shower, lots of handles. The breakfast ......it has a fantastic waffle bar with lots of toppings, hot eggs,bacon, etc. Hot and cold drinks. Fruit, cereal, muffins etc, etc. Staff very friendly.

The disability room and pet fee made the stay a little pricey, BUT when you factor in the great breakfast, not so bad. Would stay again for sure.

The staff was so friendly, and having the food right there in the parking lot was great. Everything was so new!

This location is truly in the middle of nowhere. I used to live in this town and thought I had booked the other hampton inn in town. I was surprised to find we were at this one, nowhere near ANYTHING. If you forget anything or want a late night snack, it's a HIKE!

A large group of parents and kids were having a loud party out on the patio area in the rear of the hotel. We were on the fourth floor and couldn’t hear our TV due to the extreme noise. This went on for 3 hours. Management did nothing to control the party.

Friendly staff, breakfast was very good, beds were comfortable, whole place was very clean. Sitting area outside was really nice.

Reception area and breakfast area were freezing and I'm not usually cold. The a/c was weird. When it was on, you were freezing, when it went off, you got warm. No way to have just the fan running.

Unfortunately, there was a guest smoking right by the side entry door... I understand it is not a hotel’s problem. Perhaps a sign indicating the location for the smoking area would persuade smoking guests. Another point is, being a silver member, when I had a traditional check in on another Hampton Inn earlier in the week I was given a coupon for the faster internet. By doing the online checkin and getting the digital key through my phone I wasn’t offered such benefit.

Breakfast was pretty boring. Sausage was rubbery with little taste. No bananas. Still, the servers were very nice and worked hard. There were also a lot of choices to eat and drink

The bathroom toilet wasn't adequately clean. It was stained an icky yellow. Other than that the room was very nice

This property was in a great location! It was close to everything. The area was safe and brand new.

The only thing I didn’t like was that the staff did not come to clean my room on my second day. So my trash was piling up and I had to go down and get fresh towels. My only other complaint was the light on the microwave was so bright it kept me up at night. Other than that my stay was great!

excellent staff. Great eating facilities and selection - including easy to move chairs!

My only complaint was that the pool was VERY cold. I wanted to swim laps and it took me 5-10 minutes to get used to the water.

Great location, clean/new hotel, super friendly staff.

It wasn't clear that to to use wifi you had to join the rewards program. This was "free" but still . . . kind of a bummer to have to sign up for a bunch of stuff.

Location was exceptional, secure and well lit area with a gas station handy to the interstate for our early morning departure. We will likely return.

The front desk lady tried telling us that the room we booked was unavailable and we had to take a queen instead of a king but offered no discount. The booking showed 3 king rooms available online and we really had to insist that we would prefer the king room. She finally relented like she had done us an enormous favour by “finding” us the only king room left in the hotel.
