Holiday Inn Express St. Louis Central West End, an IHG Hotel

Good location, comfortable bed, excellent shower. The fitness room was OK.

The TV volume would not decrease below 10! I asked reception to fix it, but they said that's just how it is. It seemed loud at nights and I'm pretty sure nearby rooms could hear the tv. There were really bright lights in the backyard for rooms with balconies, and you had to pull the drapes at night. There is a lot of noise from the hallway when guests open and close hotel room doors and pass by. Breakfast was grab and go, and often items such as microwave cheese omelette would be out of stock. It is hard to carry food and coffee to your room with flimsy paper plates.

ITS WAS 5 MINUTES FROM MY CHILD DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT. IT WAS QUITE AND VERY CLEAN. I WOULD HAVE DESIRED A HOT BREAKFAST LIKE PANCAKES AND WAFFLES SAUSAGE AND OR GRITS, POTATOES, EGGS, HASHBROWNS OR SOMETHING FOR $202 DOLLARS FOR 1 NIGHT. I EXPECTED A BETTER BREAKFAST. I PAY LESS AT OTHER PLACES AND GET THE SAME SERVICES WITH A BETTER BREAKFAST. JUST SAYING, KNOCK OFF THE $15 PARKING FEE FOR THE LOW GRADE BREAKFAST.

I DIDN'T LIKE THAT WE HAD TO PAY A PARKING FEE. WHICH WE HAVE STAYED HERE SEVERAL OTHER TIMES AND NEVER HAD TOO. OF COURSE IF THE BREAKFAST HAD OF BEEN BETTER I WOULD HAVE PROBABLY IGNORED THE PARKING FEE.

Breakfast Room excellent items to pick, Having own Parking lot in especially in the tight spot in the city located at. Awesome Clean Clean Clean rooms. Great working Exhaust Fan in the Restroom, nice size Shower Room. Real world Furniture for my Temporary Stay. Bed was just right, Not too Soft or Hard. Great HVAC Unit with Controller, very Accurate. Price was great because of the Great Breakfast pics, Clean room and location - You would spend the same amount if went to a place way out of the way, Parking and Breakfast at a restaurant.

Restroom needs a few Shelfs for My Personal things like, Tooth Brush, Mouth Wash, Etc. The Stand Alone Sink is great, but need those shelves for my items.

Water pressure in shower great. Rooms clean. AC works great.

Advised that if we parked vehicle out front instead of in parking garage it was at our own risk but not recommended at all by staff. Glad he told us but didn’t realize the area we rented for the night was in a shady area. We parked in garage no problems. They are remodeling so breakfast is set up in a room with pre-packaged food you have to warm in microwave but they do have a great selection considering the circumstances. They are trying to take care care of the customers needs for breakfast.

As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted by Jamal at the front desk. Check in was fast and simple. As I entered my room which was soon as I got off the elevator, I was amazed by the beautiful clean room that was prepared. By already being amazed, I opened the curtains to a breath taking patio with sturdy furniture. I needed this room to run away from home and just her some peace & quiet and I relieved above and beyond. I would highly recommend and will be staying again.

Our room was lovely! I do believe it was newly renovated. It was bright and cheery. The bathroom was great although it could have used a few more hooks and maybe a little longer counter space. We really enjoyed the shower! It was roomy and the water pressure was perfect. Loved the floor tile! The hotel was is a very eclectic part of town and was nice to feel like you were part of the community. The staff was very warm and welcoming especially when we arrived and when we checked out.

We would have liked a microwave in the room. After a long day of touring or even having spent time at one of the nearby medical facilities, going out might be too tiring (especially the later). I understand the plan was for people to use the room service and or restaurant that was being finished, but some times it just isn’t feasible.

Beds were comfy. Air conditioner was quiet. Room was clean. Neighborhood had many restaurants and was close to the metro.

No sit down area for complimentary breakfast but I think this is part of an ongoing renovation. It was bit expensive for what it is, but so are all accommodations right now.

I was pleased with the room design, friendly staff, helpful staff, location of hotel, house keeping, and room overall. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my family who stayed for 3 weeks. Dorie and Kim who work at the desk were exceptional.

I should of requested a different room. The hotel is under renovation. The front desk was located in a hall on the first right next to our room. Sometimes noise was an issue. Good breakfast but no meatless choices. Many times they ran out of bananas. Breakfast sandwiches were frozen so it took a while to heat up everyday. No microwaves in rooms. You have to go to the breakfast room to heat up food. They didn't always have change for laundry machines. Not many snack choices to purchase.

Clean updated guest room. Fantastic walk in shower with plenty of water pressure and a tall shower head w/ a hand held sprayer as well. Heated toilet seat with bidet options. Comfortable beds and bedding, towels. Large flat screen TV. Great location and quiet. The hotel is going through a renovation and the front desk and breakfast are are in temporary locations. Functional for the time being, but I look forward to my next visit and seeing the finished product. I was impressed with the complimentary breakfast offerings considering the times we are living in 2021. All grab and go but had several hot sandwich options, individual wrapped pastries, fruit, yogurt and beverages. Again, I would imagine that by the time the renovations are complete, the breakfast will be back to what we remember before this mess we have been enduring for the past 18 months.

Storage space was lacking a bit. Not a deal breaker, as it is a hotel room and not a residence.

The staff was and is very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. My family is in transition. We stayed because it was a temporary living space for us. I like that it is within walking distance of many restaurants and two grocery stores. The beds are super comfortable. Love the shower and lighting. Although we were right next to the temporary front desk (we heard noise as people checked in and out, going to breakfast, and going to heat up food) we were right next to the breakfast room.

I did not like the space. My two children and myself were in the room with two queen beds. Just wasn't enough space but we made it work. No closet space. We had a lot of suitcases and bags. No microwave in room. You have to go to the the breakfast room to use the microwave.
