The shower was amazing, bathroom was clean and tidy, bedding was clean. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the lobby and the modern architecture. No unpleasant smells. Overall, happy with our stay.

While I understand there’s only so much the staff can do, but the hallways were very loud well into the night. Kids running and screaming and adults also yelling and carrying on very loudly. Also, wish there had been lotion/moisturizer included in the given toiletries because that was the one thing I forgot to bring! Also, more details on parking before check in. We are not familiar with the area and struggled to find a place to park to check in. But, overall a wonderful stay.

Staff was great including valet. Everyone was super nice, friendly and helpful with offering suggestions of things to do and places to eat. I enjoyed the hot breakfast.

I wish there were more hot breakfast options and that there was a hot tub in the pool area. It got a little hot in our room and we could only turn the air down so much (66°). Also, we had six guests listed for our room and were only provided with 3 towels but the staff did provide more towels as needed.

Barely any free parking at all. Breakfast area needs to be better organized or streamlined. It was very clean but you had to walk here then there to get all the items you want instead of everything being together. Made it difficult to find specific food items and had to be very close to other peoples sitting area just to get drinks. Examples: cereal was on one side while the milk was across the room, Bagels were on one display while cream cheese was in another area. Sitting tables are too close to the kitchen so people waiting in line would be getting very close to you while you're trying to eat.

Very clean, modern hotel. The beer and wine happy hour in the lobby was a nice touch.

The Google directions took me to the rear parking lot, and then I found out I could not enter the hotel from the parking lot. I had to walk around the building to get to the entrance on the opposite side. Since I had never been, and after a long 10 hour drive in the car, this was very frustrating. This could be rethought. Could not figure out how to open the shades in the room we had. There isn't much soundproofing between the bed area and the bathroom.

I chose the Element because it was conveniently located for the event I planned to attend, also easy to get to on public transit from Amtrak station. Beautiful renovation. Superb staff. Breakfast choices were nice, loved the quiche. I would definitely stay here again.

The water pressure in shower was weak; for cost of stay, bed sheet thread count should be 600 or higher. I found a better rate, would have saved about $100, wrote to Booking.com and the hotel about it, NEVER got a response.

This hotel was close to everything, yet traffic was not a nightmare to contend with. The Food Hall across the street was exceptional with great live music. The staff at the hotel were all so very polite and courteous. Everything at the hotel was way above expectations! Clean, safe, quiet, relaxing!

There was not a thing we didn’t like about the property, except that the UpBar was so crowded that we did not try that experience.

perfect location and very clean. we had rooms in the 7th floor so made good use of the bar and rooftop deck. nice little cafe in the bottom floor for coffee etc. Breakfast was included - typical bagels, fruit etc. Fun mix of restaurants across the street (Foundry) that we visited repeatedly - our kids loved it! Staff was friendly and helpful, especially the valet staff. We have family in St. Louis so this is our new go-to hotel!

The breakfast was great lots of options. Loved the drink station and the flavored water. The hotel was very modernized and secure. I loved how spacious and clean the room was. They even went an extra step and left treats for my daughter and her friends in the room for her birthday. So nice of them! Since the pool was not open, they also had a shuttle take us to their sister hotel down the street so we could go swimming. Great staff, great place!

I’d like to come back when the pool is open!

The staff was very friendly! The location is great as it is across the street from the Foundry and the City Winery (we went to a concert). The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable. The breakfast provided was great, providing a wide variety of foods. An added bonus was the security. You couldn't go up the elevators without swiping your key.

I cannot complain about a thing.

The location was perfect for us, practically on SLU’s campus and a short walk to where we needed to be. The cheese and drinks reception was a lovely surprise - local beers and cheese. Some of the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I was able to run in the afternoon from the hotel down to Forest Park. We enjoyed the food choices across the street at the Foundry.
