I love this property and have come for years - great restaurants, memories and general vibe

On this particular stay, the front desk started calling me at 1030 AM to see when I would check out. They continued to call every 15-20 minutes until I left which has never happened to me in over 20 years of international business travel.

Loved the location and theme of the hotel

Not sure what the actual employees job was as I just saw him wondering around. He invited his family to come take over the pool while we were trying to enjoy the pool to ourselves. Early in the evening two teens were dropped off. They were in the pool harassing guests for their social medias. Later 4-5 other adults and a few children showed up to pick up teens and ended up staying and taking over the pool. We were forced to get out whale they were allowed to stay past pool hours.

I loved the decor, the ambiance. The tavern was perfect- great staff and drinks. Breakfast was really good- perfect scrambled eggs. The room was clean, as was our bathroom.

The bed was a bit hard, but the pillows were great- if only there had been a couple more of them. I've always wanted to stay there and I'm glad I finally did. I'm sure I'll stay again- but I'll be more careful walking around the end of the bed- those bed legs must have been designed by Tonya Harding's bodyguard.😁

Our family enjoyed the decor and amenities, it felt special. The room was clean and pleasant. The staff were wonderful and personal, I can see why guests return. We enjoyed a pint at the fox & hound after the kids went to bed, a welcome reward for parents.

The hallway lights were extremely dim, if you were visually impaired, it would be difficult to navigate. The floors were being redone in the main area, so the sounds of the fans made it difficult to enjoy the area.

Okay, we were totally surprised by this hotel! We booked it because of the good price on a week day…not knowing about the decor, themed rooms or scavenger hunt! We were thoroughly surprised by how fun it was!

Our car top carrier was too tall for the parking garage so we couldn’t use the garage/elevators. We parked on the blacktop and getting inside was pretty easy from there, as well. The thing we disliked the most was that the hallways smelled of car exhaust BECAUSE of the elevators to the parking garage. So, in the end, we were glad we hadn’t contributed to that problem since we parked in the lot.

The breakfast was delightful and delicious. This was one of the delightful parts of this adventure. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful in the evening and again in the morning. Kudos to the staff.

The room seem to be only surface cleaned and not even that very well. There was a lot of dust on the furniture and baseboards and floors. The room needed a really good cleaning.Toilet and tub were clean however

Spencer at the front desk was wonderful. He was super friendly with my son and made it a very nice experience! Of course, the Cheshire is a charming hotel. It has great common areas, a nice pool, and a great outdoor space.

The room could have used a more thorough cleaning (under the side tables, etc.) and some repairs (torn wallpaper, worn upholstery).

The staff, from front desk to groundskeeping, were very friendly and helpful. This hotel is VERY kid friendly and we enjoyed our stay very much. Would definitely recommend for a family vacation in St. Louis!

The pool closed at 10p and didn't reopen until 10a. This is very sad if you are only staying one night as it is a beautiful pool area with beautiful cabanas.

The hotel had it's own character and that's what I was going for. There were a lot of restaurants, stores and places to visit nearby. Very nice neighborhood. The staff was great. The underground parking was nice for the overnight and poor weather we ended up having.

Our room was not 100% clean. There were small amounts of hair in the bathroom when we arrived and it gave us the feeling it was not clean. The decore was a bit "dark" for our taste, but we were going for unique so that is what we get. I was hoping for a large lounge chair in the room as the picture showed of the room type, but we had a smaller chair. Overall the room was comfortable.
