Stoney Creek Hotel Peoria

Came for the junior high state track meet. Was so impressed with the staff. They were so courteous and PATIENT with all the different athletes there. The facilities were so clean and our 7 rooms were fantastic. I especially liked the bunk bed room to put 6 athletes in there. Breakfast was EXCEPTIONAL. Loved there was an ADULT ONLY hour at the pool from 10-11. Absolutely great experience.

The chorine smell and vapors in the pool area were strong (but we at least knew it was clean especially with many middle school kids in it) I wish breakfast started a bit earlier in instances like this instead of 7 because we had to rush to eat but the breakfast options were EXCELLENT

Gr8 staff, friendly welcoming👍 accommodating. I was a smile always an answer:-).. plan on spending several more days in the future at Stoney Creek Hotel. Great location! Quick access to access to local disc golf courses and beauty of the area. Hope to be back in August for our PDGA tour👍✔

I can be a pretty picky guy, really insanely particular on occasion. The manager makes. An immediate and positive impression. If I could clone him and his attitude I could rule the world. All staff very courteous and helpful knew it was going to be a great stay! I can't discount any part of my stay at Stoney Creek, the place ain't perfect it's 17 years old, but WE had a perfect stay. Congratulations to the staff and management 14000 cars:-)

I absolutely LOVED it! The location was perfect! It's beautiful right near the lake for beautiful evening walks. The pool was warm and fun! I cant wait to go back! The staff was friendly and fun! Stoney creek you made my 32 anniversary Thank you! Loved the swim through pool!

The only thing I didn't like was there was not one single lounge chair near the pool! I would have loved to lay in the sun at the swim through pool.

I loved the cabin vibe that it gives and the fact that everything was working (pool, hot tub, washer/dryer, Hotel breakfast). The employees there are super nice! and made our expierience so much better. Rooms were SUPER CLEAN. I can honestly say when I see an updated room and/or clean room it makes my experience so much better and trust worthy.

There honestly is nothing bad I could say about the property!! I am very picky with my hotels but I really liked this hotel.

Close to the downtown Peoria. we liked the wood beams /lodge look. Breakfast was great with friendly staff that kept it stocked. Showers had plenty of hot water and good flow on shower heads. Pool looked fun since it was heated and had a passageway to swim outside. Unfortunately we did not have not to utilize.

Rooms have large bottles of shampoo and soap in the shower however our soap was totally empty. Limited counter space in the bathrooms.

The price is very reasonable! Breakfast options were varied enough, good tasting, and were kept filled up. The coffee was good tasting, which isn't always the case in hotels that I've stayed. There was plenty of parking. The front desk personnel was friendly and helpful. Our room including the bathroom was clean and the bed/pillows comfortable.

The elevator was out of service and our room was in the building of the hotel that was separated by an enclosed walkway from the main building (where the eating area and the pool is located). The woman who was working in the breakfast area wasn't very friendly. She seemed angry w/ most interactions that I had and saw others have with her. The toasters in the breakfast area didn't seem to toast the bagels/bread well (even when it was set on high).

The staff were exceptional and my daughter and her friend loved swimming in the pool outside in the frigid cold. They said it was so fun. They kept up on towels needed for their clean bathroom in our room and the room was very clean. The lady was so thoughtful, she asked if we needed more soap, shampoo etc.....as well. Overall, the stay was amazing but it would ha e been better with comfy beds that weren't broken down, especially when u sat on edge. U literally would slide off there was no support.

The room was older decorated not like the cabin feel as all the other rooms i have rented. The beds were extremely hard and broke down. They need new and updates to fit the lodge feel. The fridge was broken in the door but it did work. They also need a copy of the channels they get so you do not have to surf. The breakfast they served was good but very little to choose from and there were so many people, they couldn't keep up.

we love our room. it was clean and comfortable

the only thing we had a issue with was we went to the bar for a couple of drinks and there was another couple already in there but we stood at the bar for about 10 minutes waiting for the bartender to wait on us but no one showed up. the couple said she was outside on the patio so my husband walks out to see if she would help us and another person said she’s over in the parking lot talking to some guys. my husband tried to get her attention but she ignored him.so after all that we just went up to our room. other then this we enjoyed our stay and will stay again but they need to get better service at the bar.

We’ve always loved the location of Stoney Creek and the cabin-y feel. no other place in town like this that I know of.

The fireplace timer in the suite was loud. Like loud loud. You could hear it over the TV just ticking away SO loudly, the room echoes the ticking. The only way the fireplace would turn on is by using the timer, so we had to use a piece of tape to hold it in place 😂 then it was better.

We loved the location, the room, the staff from the front desk to the bartender that really made our night.. Great Experience

I really have no complaints except we asked if we could push tables together and were offered a conference room which were then told it was 200 extra. We stayed in the bar and had a great time
