Comfort Suites Lafayette University Area

Location off the expressway was perfect, close to restaurants and convenience stores. The room was quite large which is a big plus. The bed was ok-- a little firm for my taste, but the pillows (real goose down, no feathers) were just exquisite. The sofa-bed was rather run down, not very comfortable. There was a spot of mildew on the shower surround. I think the in-room coffee maker is due for an upgrade-- the little old fashioned one-cup machine that gives tasteless coffee is outdated, but they did have coffee in the foyer, which was much better. Other than that it was very clean and a very comfortable stay. I would stay here again.

Nice suite for a great price! The room was clean, the staff was awesome. Despite a very busy weekend, breakfast was good, no shortage of anything. The staff were on their toes to keep it all stocked and warm. Will stay there again when visiting Lafayette. I also liked the location: so close to the highway we were traveling on. It is also close to the major local grocery store and a bunch of restaurants. Good job, Comfort Suites Lafayette University Area.

However I wanted to clarify: this hotel is not located on the University area (or near the campus). This one thing was a bit confusing. It wasn't a big of a deal for us, but for others the name might be a bit deceiving.

the breakfast was fine. scrambled egg and cheese omelette and sausage patty. muffins, bagels, cereal, fruit, yogurt, waffle maker to use. hot coffee, hot chocolate, juices, milk. Liz who took care of the breakfast area was awesome! she asked to clear our plates and had a nice chat with her. the room was updated, roomy, bed/pillows comfy. bathroom clean and roomy. I liked this place so much I stayed there again two weeks later. Also, they have a little "store" that came in handy. they had what I needed and saved me a trip to Walgreens.

Staff was nice and bed was comfotable. The room had an extra table underneath the main table, so it was useful for me.

I couldn't open the window and the safe was not working. But it was okay with me. They would have fix it if I had told the staff, but it did not bother me.

The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel was conveniently located across the street from restaurants. They were very accommodating regarding my pet.

The hallway smelled of weed and people cooking in their rooms. Because I had a dog with me, I didn't appreciate the amount of goose (I believe) pooh on the sidewalk.

The quality of all aspects of the hotel was what we appreciated. It was a pleasure to have a clean, working washer and dryer. Our room faced the woods, so it was quiet. The gazebo area was a also plus. The staff were a delight with whom to work.

We were pleased with all areas of our experience.

I liked the friendliness of the staff. The breakfast was a little later than I could access but from what I hear it was good.

The pool hours were very inconvenient for my schedule. When I returned from my bike ride I could not access the pool nor could I in the morning.

It's a great location for visiting my granddaughter at Purdue and going shopping for her. The accommodations were very good. The only issue was not the hotel but guests on our floor who were loud throughout the night. I think they were partying out in the hall.

We stayed for five days and it was in a very convenient location for house-hunting in Lafayette. It's about 20 minutes from Purdue. The staff was super friendly, including Liz in the breakfast room and Damian and Jason at the front desk. There are lots of other chain hotels in the area, but Comfort Suites has the best price.

Comfortable

We had a lady with a baby next door. Baby was crying almost all night long. Baby’s mom was screaming on top of her lungs on the phone from 1am-4am. We called the front desk to complain and immediately someone knocked on the door and told something to the lady. Three minutes later she was at it again! My husband and I couldn’t sleep at all.
