Comfort Inn Plainfield

location was easy to access downtown and the airport for a reasonable price.

the staff seemed to be constantly engaged with other staff members or people who were loitering around the hotel that were clearly not guests. the behavior was quite unprofessional and their social engagement was a far greater priority than assisting guests. management needs to be involved asap. trashy

Breakfast very good. Parking & entry & lemon water very nice.

One night staff said we were not to sit in the lounge/ breakfast table area (same place) in evening playing cards. Then she changed her mind said she had all night to clean.…. It was a little uncomfortable .

Gas, food, drink and other hotels all located close or walking distance.

Hot Breakfast was pretty good but the waffles were crumbly with hard to pump syrup. We had some disturbance from baseball team children playing noisily outside in the parking lot after midnight. The third floor was helpful but not if they were right below your window! Management posted a sign asking them not to play late in the parking lot but that didn’t help much. Overall was still a good stay for us.

The breakfast was very good and the room was plenty big.

When we arrived, we had to wait in line to check-in for a half hour. There seemed to be a shortage of staff and the one person behind the desk had some frustrating issues to deal with. She did the best she could, but one person was complaining that their room smelled like smoke and another had a problem with the dates of their reservation. After that, everything was fine.

The breakfast had several selections, but the food was cold. Such as the hot served food.

There were several younger age children running the halls on my floor all night long unattended being extremely loud which made it hard to rest. Otherwise the location was clean and comfortable.

you can tell that the staff works hard at keeping the place clean, the Bed was really comfortable, the linens were nice and clean, i can get to all my business appointments. and Mary the who was the front desk clerk who checked me in was very nice and attentive to my needs.

i had a first floor room, and some of the patrons had car issues, so it was a little noisy outside my window from time to time. but not during the night.

The location

One of the receptionist named Mary didn’t want to give us more towels after the housekeeping took ours and didn’t leave us anymore and I had to kind of get upset in order for her to give me towels for me and my family. The rest of the trip was absolutely wonderful stay was wonderful that was the only incident that we ran into

It was a good location, close to restaurants, gas. The staff was nice. The hotel was clean.

The main thing I didn’t like was our room was by the stairway and the side door, so most of the night I heard people running up and down the steps and the heavy stairway door and outside doors closing very loudly. I didn’t sleep well at all. However the next night we got another room in the middle and it was quiet.

The room was adaquet and the beds were comfortable. All the staff were friendly. the hotel was clean.

The only con would be the breakfast. the eggs and the sausage were below par for taste and texture. Would recommend a better quality item as far as hot food goes for the breakfast.

I loved the location

the curtains didn’t close the full way across the window and the A/C was extremely loud
