Holiday Inn Express Indianapolis Airport, an IHG Hotel

The breakfast was hot and fresh, the staff is always pleasant and accommodating. The lady who took care of the morning breakfast area is always very friendly and open to conversation. The front desk help is always kind and efficient.

I only had one thing I noticed that was not what I expected, and from past experience staying at this location - It was surprising.. The long buffet table by the check in desk that usually has cookies on it- was dirty underneath it. There were many clumps of food as well as a plastic spider under there.. possibly to get the attention of the housekeeping staff. We notice details when we have to be careful for health conditions.

Breakfast was fantastic. Location was great but watch out for construction on the freeway as the exit was closed when we arrived. The hotel should notify guests if exit ramps are closed.

It would be GREAT to have a dedicated area for dogs. While there are plenty of grass areas to walk through, an off-leash area for people to let their dogs get out energy would be a great perk.

The holtel was just completing construction. That never got in the way of our stay. Exceptionally clean. Staff was helpful and extremely friendly. I had a plane to catch and did not have breakfast. Was able to leave my car in a safe and free place which I really appreciated.

Location was close to airport. Cleanliness throughout facility. Great staff.

It would have been nice to know that the regular route to the airport is unavailable with I70 E being closed. My car navigation system didn’t know of this, so it couldn’t help me. I drove around for over an hour trying to find the airport and missed my flight, I assume your guests include a good number of fliers. You might want to post a notice at the front desk, or even make up a set of temporary directions to hand out to guests who are flying out.

There is a continental breakfast. It starts at 6am with the buffet (eggs, sausage, biscuits, cereal, etc...) But there is also a "soft" breakfast that starts at 4am, which includes dry/packages items. We did the buffet but which was pretty good but thought the soft breakfast starting at 4 was a cool item for people who are traveling or just high at 4am. Everything was clean. It is exactly as you'd expect from a hotel which is all I care about really. It had clean sheets, clean bathroom, a microwave, mini-fridge, working vending and ice machines, some food options near by, and a breakfast that wasn't half bad. Overall it was a quality stay and the negatives were minor.

When we checked in there was no staff member to check us in. We had to wait 20 minutes for someone to show up. The pool was closed because they hadn't got it ready for the season yet, which was very disappointing.

Breakfast was excellent. Unlike the Hilton Garden Inn, no charge for the breakfast. Yet close in quality to the breakfast I had at the Hilton Garden Inn. Location outstanding; Plainfield is relatively close to downtown Indianapolis, but the hotel rate is substantially lower than the rate in downtown Indianapolis. Close to restaurant/bar, and a number of restaurants and fast food places.

Great location...stores, restaurants, airport. Super clean. Good breakfast.

The swimming pool is super little. On the website shows a big swimming pool.

The only thing i didnt like is that i got double charged. Was told it was just a "hold on the money" and "should get it back in a couple days" when at check in i got told i wouldnt be charged at all till check out. So in total they put a hold on 200 dollars ....

Scott at the front desk did a great job checking in multiple guests at nearly the same time. Breakfast was great! Thank you. My room was very clean, too. Kudos to the cleaning staff!
